September 2024We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay booked through secret escapes. Our package included bed, breakfast and £25 each towards evening meal each night of our stay and a free cocktail each on the first night. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and professional but we have to mention the lovely receptionist Sol who went above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful. She really is an asset to the hotel. We will definitely return as apart from all of the above the hotel is ideally located for easy access to neighbouring towns and cities but has a beautiful tranquil setting.

October 2024Absolutely lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, we were there for a friends wedding and it was great. The food was delicious, drinks were what I’d expect to pay and it was all just so easy. I think one of the best bits was the mattress in the superior suite we stayed in, genuinely the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in….,to the point we are going to buy one!! Big shout out to Francesca too for providing great service. My wife had one bit of feedback, there’s a lack of plug sockets anywhere near to a mirror, so straightening her hair was challenging, we also only had one bath robe and slipper set in the room…..which to be fair was no issue as I wouldn’t have worn them anyway, so that aside, we loved it and will be back to stay again in the near future so we can explore the grounds and area properly.

October 2024A nice hotel out in the countryside. Plenty of free parking even though there was a wedding in the hotel when we turned up. The receptionist was very welcoming. We had a spacious room with a lovely big bed. The room itself felt a little tired and there were some stains on the carpet. We did have a drink in the bar which seemed a bit expensive at £18 for two drinks.

December 2024Lovely looking hotel. Rooms were clean and well kept. Service staff was very lovely. There didn't appear to be an elevator, and we were on the third floor. Thankfully, we didn't have too many bags so it wasn't so terrible (we just turned our trips to the hotel room into leg workouts). I know there is a lot on offer at the hotel, but we came for a wedding so didn't get a chance to utilise the facilities. I would come back though.
