I was checked in by the lovely Sarah, she was very professional and friendly. Bar and restaurant area very comfortable, nice decor, lots of drink options and breakfast was delicious! The room itself was very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The only thing I would change is to have better tv signal, it just worked when it wanted to work and the tv remote stopped working after a while. I really enjoyed the spa, it’s a great way to unwind. Location is good and I definitely would stay again just hopefully in a different room so I could watch tv.

All the staff were great and the room was clean and made each morning. The bar drink prices were a little expensive as it's a hotel, but not silly expensive which was good. The food on the other hand was expensive for what you got, that said it was all very nice. The pizzas were good, the kids menu was pretty reasonable but £8 for a single chicken skewer was ridiculous!! Used the pool which was alright and included in the price. Location wise you need to drive if you want to do anything or go out for a meal as there's not a lot around which is nearby. On the subject of driving, having to pay for parking each day was a bit of negative as well.

We have just returned from an overnight stay for my birthday, checking in was straight forward. The lovely Chloe checked us in and also upgraded our room to a suite which was very much appreciated. One thing we immediately noticed and something that ruined our stay and will stop us from returning is how hot the rooms are, we had two fans on the go continually and the windows open and it was so unbearable, I couldn’t even blow dry my hair because it was too warm. We ventured down to the pool/jacuzzi and had a fab time, it was refreshing after being so warm. We headed back up to our room to find hotel staff in the room, the one lady we found quite abrupt, she explained how someone had left a tap on in our room (??) and it flooded and had gone into the room underneath us. We felt quite awkward as we believe the lady thought it was us despite explaining we hadn’t used any taps as we hadn’t long checked in and that we heard hissing coming from the bidet but it was nothing really of concern, it was just a sheer observation. The hotel staff suctioned a lot of the water off the floor however the carpet was still soaking wet, as much as this was annoying as you had to walk through soaking carpet and dry your feet off before getting into bed, we tolerated it as it was only a 1 night stay and due to being upgraded. There is clearly an issue with the plumbing in this room as the bathroom then smelt like drains and the shower only trickled out which was a nightmare. The beds were really comfy and huge and there was a mini fridge with 2 drinks and chocolate in there which was nice. The breakfast we had was lovely with a nice bit of variety, we also had drink vouchers and a free bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed. The sofa in the suite was very uncomfortable but we made it into a sofa bed to relax and watch tv which was alot comfier. I would also like to highlight that the housekeepers knocked on our door at 9:45am and asked when we are leaving as she wanted to clean. When I told her I was not checking out until 12pm, she thanked me and left. However, should I have been asleep and been woken up by this, I don’t think I would have been best pleased, if we didn’t choose to have the breakfast, we definitely wouldn’t have been awake when she knocked. I do think they should only be knocking the doors of those that have checked out. Apart from that, the service and facilities is what made this hotel great but apart from that we won’t be returning unfortunately.
