I recently worked at Hatherley Manor to photograph a surprise proposal and absolutely loved the rooms, the spa and the grounds. Everything was so well kept and attended to, the staff were so helpful and showed me all the spots I could take my couple to. The room where the proposal happened was bright, clean and quiet. It is a beautiful setting for any event! I hope to be back here soon!

Stayed here for one night and all the staff were super lovely, always happy to help. The room we had, Beams, was really nice too. Only issue was the TV wouldn't connect to the Internet but not the end of the world. The spa had everything you'd want and the breakfast was fab. Would definitely stay again

I don't normally like leaving bad reviews but had I known what the spa was going to be like I genuinely don't think I'd have booked here. The spa was tiny and extremely overcrowded. There was absolutely no where to sit/lie down for about 50% of the people there, so we had nowhere to go except wait in the pool until people got up/moved on. There were also a lot of young children there, I counted 7 children under the age of 12 and even a small baby. I don't want to sound really negative and anti-child, they weren't being naughty they were just doing normal things young kids do when they get in water. It just didn't fit well at all at a spa having kids jumping into the pool, splashing and laughing/shouting. The towels were also stained and there were no dressing gowns left. The rest of the stay was nice and nice staff were friendly and helpful.

Booked as a last minute deal. Pros: Good location, beautiful grounds, easy parking, friendly staff, good amount of facilities. Cons: The pool seemed to have lots of clumps of hair and bits of rubbish at the bottom of it & the area to the steam room & sauna were almost flooded and very slippy. For a hot night, a fan wasn't provided and also only a small amount of toilet roll was provided (I'm sure had we asked for these things they would have accommodated but feel they were things that we should not have needed to chase for). Finally, there was a Jacuzzi bath but it only fills up at a very slow pace and seemed to either drain itself slowly or had a leak, it was also at a set temperature which was very hot. Overall it is a beautiful place with nice staff but small things could be improved.
