We stayed the night before an early long haul flight. Although it is joined to terminal 5 it is a long walk for people with mobility issues, so do keep this in mind. Our room was very nice and the bed was really comfy. There is various places to eat, and I had the best burger ever there. The staff are lovely, and the hotel is enormous, with a very beautiful zen garden that you are free to walk around. Some of the rooms over look the zen garden, all of which had their curtains closed, so I'm glad I didn't have one of those rooms.

Arrived a little before our room was ready, so while hubby dropped of hire car, I was given a complimentary drink in the tea lounge. Made a dinner reservation with ease when picking up room key. Delicious food and impeccable service in The Verve. Everything we needed was there in our room to relax and prepare the following day for our flight. No rush to get to terminal with easy quick drop key check-out and only a 5 minute covered walk as the hotel in within T5. What more could you want to set you up perfectly for travel!

I arrived late evening due to a delayed flight from Zurich and needed to be out very early for a flight back to the United States. Your front desk staff, particularly Jude, was phenomenal. He could see how tired I was and he quickly checked me in and even upgraded me to a bigger room for more comfort. His kindness and quick work were greatly appreciated.

We decided to have a room for a 10-hour layover in preparation for another 11-hour flight. We showered and rested in complete privacy before our next flight. Everything was clean and wonderful—a much better experience than staying in one of the lounges in the terminal. The location was attached to the terminal. Easy Pezy! Would do it again.

Our room was nicely sized with comfortable bed and we had a cot and a put me up bed. That’s about where it ended. Signage to get into the hotel was poor from outside the terminal where we were dropped by a shuttle bus, the hotel charges £9 to drop off at its door which meant we had to drive our toddler, 7 year old and all luggage to the zip car drop off 15 minutes from the hotel and get a shuttle bus back. We paid £300 for the room I’d expect to be able to be dropped off! Arrival check in was fine and porters were friendly but our family room was a trek to arrive to from the reception which was a bit frustrating especially as poorly signposted. The room was hot and the carpet was slightly damp. We ordered room service which tasted nice but took an hour to get to us - soft drinks in the room were free . The air conditioning in the room was not working but we had an early morning so flopped into bed. Another small but important thing is that there are no power sockets by the bed except for ones designed only for hotel electrical - which means my phone had to be charged across the room. 5am wake up for showers and got sweaty immediately after the shower because the air con was not working. Breakfast starts at 6am and was a vast array of tasty food on a self service basis. No non-dairy yogurt, which was a bit disappointing considering they had 3 different dairy yogurts on offer though they did have oat milk. Allergens could be better sign-posted and the staff more aware of what’s available. Check out was easy and the porters helpful again. For the cost of the room I was very disappointed and would not stay there again - I’d prefer to spend less on a hotel with a shuttle bus to the terminal.
