Sir Christopher Wren didn’t reserve all of his best
designs for London. This Grade I-listed property is an
impressive example of 17th-century architecture in
Windsor. The venue specialises in weddings and parties
for the great and the good – Sir Elton John celebrated his
civil partnership in the intimate Ascot Room. Republicans
should look away though, as its 100-seat Council
Chamber has a painting of nearly every monarch from
Elizabeth I to our own. Safe to say, the venue has a
stately atmosphere that suits business meetings as well
as formal dining. Delegates will appreciate breaks by the
Thames, a short walk away.
