Claridge’s is an art-deco hotel in the centre of Mayfair, famous for providing timeless glamour for its guests. Afternoon tea is served in the Foyer and Reading Room, and food is on offer all day in the Foyer. Aulis, a chef’s table within the kitchen at Simon Rogan’s Michelin-starred restaurant Fera, is suited to smaller parties. For vintage champagnes and rare spirits, the Claridge’s Bar is the place to be, and later in the night one can retire to the Fumoir. The recently refurbished event spaces are suitable for a variety of events, from board meetings to A-list parties, and include the lavish 1930s Ballroom, French Salon and private meeting rooms.

The St James Room can be used on its own for lunch or dinner for up to 20 guests, or connecting with the Clarence Room for larger weddings, lunches, cocktail events or dinners.

Went for breakfast and it was amazing! The room is buzzy and it just feels important. I had the granola and it was absolutely delicious. The pastry cart is also a real treat. It’s not cheap, but a great spot to impress a client or just enjoy. Also the holiday decor is lovely.

Wonderful place and genuinely amazing, old school proper hospitality. Most wonderful lunch and steak was just amazing . Rooms are spacious with generous bath and Concierge Team, having been travelling all over the world is most outstanding. Every guest will feel most welcomed visiting London staying at Claridges

I haven’t stayed at this hotel, but I saw online that Paul Smith decorated their main Christmas tree, and I couldn’t resist going to see it in person. Honestly, they did an amazing job; the tree looks unique and beautifully designed, with so much attention to detail. But what really stood out was how festive the entire hotel felt. The Christmas decorations throughout the lobby and other spaces are just as stunning, with a cozy and elegant vibe that makes the place feel extra special for the holidays. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping by to take a look!

Claridge’s London never fails to impress, especially during the festive season. From the moment you arrive, the welcoming staff make you feel right at home. This year, the lobby’s Christmas tree, beautifully designed by Paul Smith, is a true masterpiece—an elegant and whimsical centerpiece that perfectly captures the holiday spirit. The friendly and attentive team in the lobby ensures every guest feels valued, adding a personal touch to the experience. Dining at Claridge’s is equally exceptional, with an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and warmth. The festive cheer radiates throughout, making it an unforgettable experience. A visit to Claridge’s during the holidays is pure magic!

I recently attended an event at Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair, London, for the Marketing Group of Great Britain. The hotel is stunning, with grand decor and an elegant, festive atmosphere. The event was held in a spacious dining hall near the ballroom, with excellent facilities including a cloakroom, changing area, and clean toilets. The staff were courteous, professional, and attentive, ensuring drinks were refilled promptly and service was efficient. The Christmas dinner was a set menu, with a delicious crab starter and traditional turkey main. While the sides were tasty, the turkey was slightly dry, and the dessert, Christmas pudding, wasn’t my favourite, though the brandy sauce was lovely. Mini desserts served with tea and coffee at the end were a charming touch. My vegetarian friend found his portion size too small, which was disappointing. Overall, while the food could be improved, the beautiful location, excellent service, and festive touches made for an enjoyable evening. I’d love to return, perhaps to dine at one of their restaurants or stay overnight.
