At Helby Hall, we have a variety of inspirational and unique rooms for you to choose from to host your special day. Our Colonial Suite is a luxurious room that has unrivalled views of the hotel grounds, with large draped windows that flood the room with natural light and a feeling of sheer lavishness. The suite can seat up to 275 guests for a large wedding breakfast and 350 guests for your evening reception. It is also equipped with its own bar, air conditioning and dance floor.
The elegant Garden Suite provides you with a more intimate wedding for 80 guests, and up to 100 for your evening reception. This suite provides you with perfect views of the landscaped gardens.

‘We held our wedding here on Saturday 15th August 2015... Every minute was enjoyable, the day ran smoothly with no hiccups, the staff couldn't do enough for you (even coming to kill a spider in the bedroom as I was frightened and it huge, in the middle of the night)... The food was superb, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable and breakfast was great too! The only part of the hotel I didn't visit, was the spa but the rest of it is fantastic. You are all doing a great job at turning that hotel around! October 2024We were guests at a wedding and, overall, it was very nice. Just a few niggling things that could be done better but we enjoyed it and the food was lovely. Balance of meat to veg was strange and different plates could have nothing of one item and a majority of something else but it was cooked well.

December 2024Comfortable bed. Two chairs and a coffee table. Very warm room. Lighting either a little dim or too bright. Bathroom lighting was quite dull. Convenient location for our trip. Good selection for breakfast.

December 2024We had a group booking on Saturday for a Christmas party event. The tables were packed in so much that some people had trouble moving between them. The dance floor was not large enough which meant that people had to dance around tables in the limited space available. The vegetarian option was poor, with no side of vegetables it was a beige dry plate of pastry and potatoes (served on cabbage? Please... About 3 small strips) and as usual for these types of places, did not compare to the portion that the meat eaters received (which did have vegetables on???) However, it was the dessert that was the most disappointing and the manner in which the complaints were received and dealt with by the argumentative floor manager. Frangipane IT WAS NOT! Not by any description that can be found online. Was a dry sponge! The sound manager for the Motown tribute act (who to be fair was good) was rude, and although this is not a fault of Hellaby Hall themselves, it is certainly something that should be addressed when brought to their attention. Come on Hellaby Hall, you should be able to do so much better!

December 2024AVOID MANAGER Afternoon Tea with Ice Princesses My daughter had bought this for my Wife and 3 daughters with 3 very young 4.month,1 and 2 year old. The ice Princesses were very good unfortunately it started as they arrived the table was set up with an adult and child short the staff said they hadn't paid for 1 adult and child. My daughter explained it was and didn't receive there meal with the rest of the table and was again accused of not paying eventually they received a plate with some food and was again accused of not pay her food came on a couple of side plates and was dried up not offered the children hot drinks. The Manager was the main instigator of accusing of not paying left a very poor taste of what should have been a great day He was stood at the door on way out and then suddenly found him still bad mouthing my daughter terrible customer service no apology AVOID IF YOU CAN.
