September 2024Often use this hotel for work trips. Fabulous staff, fantastic service, good quality food and decent rooms. All spotless and comfortable, if a little dated. But the warm and welcoming atmosphere more than makes up for it. Always enjoy my stay.

November 2024Great location with good service, pleasant clean rooms and a decent breakfast choice, would have scored 5 other than the impact of the pre Christmas party, moved rooms at 2230 as our original room 102 was actually vibrating from the music, 321 was nice and quiet.

November 2024Used as a base for Meadowhall. Staff and facilities excellent, rooms were somewhat basic but spotless and beds very comfy. Free parking, but you must register at reception or you may be charged. Food good and tasty with plenty of choice. Drinks a bit expensive in my opinion. We chose the DBB option and found this excellent value (£119-50 for room with my wife and I allowed up to £25 each toward the all day menu or the option of 2 other menues). Lifts to all floors and good access and facilities for disabled. Great venue close to Motorway and Sheffields attractions. Thank you, will stay again.

October 2024The gym/pool/steam room/sauna are great. Its usually quiet in the evening and weekends. Pool is kid friendly too. The hotel itself is large, bar and restaurant is chilled and food is standard hotel food but staff polite and friendly. There are also some bar games. Parking is abundant - always plenty space! This hotel is 2 mins from j33 on the M1 - perfect travel stop and ideal for people visiting Meadow hall or Sheffield arena - it's probably 5-10mins drive (20in traffic). It's also large enough to host conferences and parties/weddings - it's quite popular for weddings actually!

September 2024Staff are generally fine here. Rooms now pretty tired and need a refurb. Our room was very dark and opening the curtains means negotiating some really sharp pins to keep them open. Location score is due to Parking Eye car parking. Hotel is situated not too far from the motorway junction which is always handy.
