At Helby Hall, we have a variety of inspirational and unique rooms for you to choose from to host your special day. Our Colonial Suite is a luxurious room that has unrivalled views of the hotel grounds, with large draped windows that flood the room with natural light and a feeling of sheer lavishness. The suite can seat up to 275 guests for a large wedding breakfast and 350 guests for your evening reception. It is also equipped with its own bar, air conditioning and dance floor.
The elegant Garden Suite provides you with a more intimate wedding for 80 guests, and up to 100 for your evening reception. This suite provides you with perfect views of the landscaped gardens.

‘We held our wedding here on Saturday 15th August 2015... Every minute was enjoyable, the day ran smoothly with no hiccups, the staff couldn't do enough for you (even coming to kill a spider in the bedroom as I was frightened and it huge, in the middle of the night)... The food was superb, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable and breakfast was great too! The only part of the hotel I didn't visit, was the spa but the rest of it is fantastic. You are all doing a great job at turning that hotel around! August 2024Stayed over for a special occasion, we booked the over night Romanic spa package. The Hotel is very nice clean and tidy and the room was very comfortable, No air con was a bit of an issue as it was one of the hottest days of the year. that said the room had a desk fan in the room which we did use. We had rose petals and chocolates on the bed waiting for us and booked an bottle of bubbles too. We used the hotel restaurant for our evening meal and this was lovely the food was very good and the window view was nice to over look the grounds. We did have two issue with our meal one was the side of extra chips did not come out with the meal and arrived late after we ate and our final bill had another tables drinks on our bill, but the staff sorted this out and was no issue. we had Breakfast the next morning too and this was also very nice help your self style which i liked a lot. We used the Bar and sat outside in the garden at the front of the house as it was very hot that day the drinks we had were very nice i had a Guinness which was poured just right allowing the time to settle this really dose make a difference to the end result. We had Afternoon tea which again so spot on well worth adding to our day at the spa. We enjoyed the spa spending time in the garden and hot tub with our treatments. we really did relax and enjoyed it we will be back again for sure. The staff looked after us and made it very rememberable.

July 2024My now husband and I recently had our wedding day at Hellaby Hall Hotel. Right from booking the wedding team have been incredible, accommodating, quick replies, understanding of our circumstances (we lived in London despite being from the area) and just incredibly knowledgeable of weddings and the hotel. On the day they ensured everything ran super smooth, were kind, understanding, provided amazing food and service throughout the entire day. All of my guests had an incredible time and part of that is down to the wonderful service provided by the staff at this hotel. Can't recommend them enough!

August 2024Met some friends for lunch. Perfect location as so close to M18 and M1. We were looked after by Shannon, who couldn’t have been more helpful. She even found us a table in a quiet area, so that it was more pleasant for our hearing impaired guest. Two of us had the chicken burger 🍔. It exceeded expectations as it contained a perfectly cooked butterflied chicken breast, rather than a breaded burger. Good presentation and tasty sides. Would highly recommend. Another guest was accommodated with some delicious soup (not normally on the lunch menu) and the scotch egg, which he said were excellent. The fish and chips were good but always difficult to compete against restaurants that are serving these constantly. The meals arrived together and were served on hot plates (our big must have!). Overall, we had a lovely meal. We didn’t feel rushed or pestered but received sufficient offers of extra drinks, condiments, etc, during our visit. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for looking after us 😊
