I recently visited this hotel for a little getaway, I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel was clean and tidy. The spa is amazing, the pool is great alongside the sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Dinner and breakfast were both so good. The rooms could do with a slight modernisation. Also it’s dog friendly!

Myself and my partner treated ourselves to a spa day and an overnight stay at the hotel. From start to finish the staff were attentive, kind and caring. We have had the best time, the massage and facial were incredible - my partner has never been to a spa or had a massage so was understandably a bit nervous but they put his mind at ease. Pool was lovely, shame the jacuzzi wasn't working however. Lunch that was provided was tasty, a good portion and arrived promptly. When we checked into the hotel, we were told everything we needed to know. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We had originally booked for a 2 course meal - both meals were absolutely AMAZING. so good infact we decided to upgrade to three courses!!! This is a rarity for us but we enjoyed the food that much. our only criticisms are: . Jacuzzi the wasn't working . Hotel room was spotless, everything worked, beds comfortable and clean however there was an overwhelming number of spiders 😂 we had to squash as I'm terrified of the blighters . Pool got quite busy with a lot of people doing laps as I presume they're members / locals. With the jacuzzi not working we just didn't know how to not get in the way and to fully relax. I am however writing this at night so we haven't experienced the breakfast rush just yet but this is exactly what myself and my partner needed this week. Cannot thank the staff and hotel enough

Myself and my partner treated ourselves to a spa day and an overnight stay at the hotel. From start to finish we were completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service that the staff delivered. The spa was lovely and peaceful - all amenities needed was given. The bedroom was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and fresh. Definitely would recommend to family and friends . Thank you for a lush night!

This hotel looks nice from photos but the reality is that it's even better than the photos would suggest. From the well furnished rooms to the pleasant pool area, this hotel has everything you could want. The grounds are well landscaped and maintained, with area outside for adults and children and plenty of garden games to play. The best part of this hotel is arguably the restaurant - where the chef does wonders to make hotel grill a delicious and perfectly cooked treat, and the bar area - where the staff work tirelessly hand politely to cater to their guests. What I witnessed in the bar in fact would be a credit to any similar organisation. Well done! Will recommend staying here gladly and hopefully one day return.

Went for afternoon tea with a friend. Price was £49.90 for the 2 of us. Was incredibly disappointed with the amount of food for the price. Given the amount of food, half of that price would have been reasonable. 4 finger sandwiches (plus cakes and hot drinks) at £24.95 per person is a rip off. I didn't mind paying the price before I saw the lack of sandwiches that it entailed. The price amounted to absolute greed in terms of hotel profit. The staff were lovely; hardworking and attentive. The surroundings and decor were lovely, but the amount of food was pathetic. The amount of sweet food (cakes) was absolutely fine but for that price there needed to be more finger sandwiches. Quiche and other savouries wouldn't have gone amiss (again, given the price) but at the very least it needed far more finger sandwiches. Go elsewhere for afternoon tea. Or go for a full meal at less cost!
