We had the best wedding day in July 2025. Barnett Hill is a lovely tucked away wedding venue with the option of exclusive use which we opted for. The venue and grounds are beautiful, there were hotel rooms for all our guests and flexibility with the wedding breakfast. The team on the day were so attentive and professional, special shout out to Zsolt and Lajos who helped give us the best wedding day possible. The whole team were so happy and smiley which really fed into our joyful day. Our guests are still raving to us about our day, they all loved their hotel rooms and breakfast the next morning. It was great to drop everything off the day before and leave the venue and our suppliers to work together on making a truly memorable day. Thank you Barnett Hill for giving us the perfect wedding day!

Lovely place for an overnight stay. Booked a Comfy King Room on booking.com . I think the dimensions of the room were bigger than advertised which was a bonus. Wwlcome reception, clean, well presented and a nice breakfast to finish the stay.

We stayed at this exceptional hotel in Surrey while I was pregnant, and it was truly the perfect getaway. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and the architecture and overall design of the hotel give it a really special feel. The rooms are spacious and beautifully done — you instantly feel calm and cared for. The food was absolutely amazing, both in the restaurant and in the outdoor areas where you can enjoy a drink or meal surrounded by nature. The hotel is family-friendly, with lots of open outdoor space where kids can safely run and play. While there isn’t a designated play area, our experience felt very welcoming and comfortable for families. The gardens are expansive and ideal for a peaceful walk, and the nearby forest adds to the sense of calm and connection to nature. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy the moment. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s definitely worth it — whether for a short break, a longer relaxing stay, or even just a lovely lunch or dinner out. I’d especially recommend it to expecting or new mothers looking for a peaceful escape before or after giving birth. It’s also a beautiful spot for couples or anyone in need of a reset. Highly recommended — a true gem in Surrey!

This hotel is not just it, it's an experience that will encompass everything you might like: a beautiful English Cottage, (I think previously owned by Thomas Cook) surrounded by nature at its best, with beautiful gardens, close to perfection. Rooms are big and comfortable with a Nespresso machine in each room. The staff has been amazing, just all the people I had the pleasure to interact, and a special call out Jennifer, an amazing and enjoyable person who really took care of myself and my crew for the entirety of our staying. Yes it's a bit far from London but that what you want to experience, something different, something magical, immersed in this amazing 1800-like lifestyle.

This review was written on the bias that this is advertised as a luxury hotel experience. Went for a Mid week Break, Room was sparce, but comfortable. Robes missing despite booking a treatment experience, coffee machine was dirty and unemptied, pods were some cheapo recycled muck. Only way to contact reception was use an app ! or walk down. Loud room party going on next door till late. Food was great but limited choice, ok for us but another group got up and left. Dull and tired dining room, again not the professionalism of a hotel like this. Breakfast ok, but not a lot of choice. Overcharged when checking out had to get that re-aligned. If you need to learn how service is done, Alexander Hotels, suggest you book a stay at Ragdale Hall. Oh, but the couple of treatments we had were excellent.
