Must go if you are art lover. Highly recommend to book time ahead of time. Otherwise you will be lining up for a while. Go to website and it’s free of charge to book time a lot and you will have to plan ahead and be there at the time slot. It will be definitely worth doing this if you see the regular line. A lot of art pieces for reviewing but some of the pieces got loan out until fall. Staffs are polite, friendly and knowledgable. Amazing experience and will definitely go back again

The National Gallery is an outstanding cultural treasure in London, located at the Trafalgar Square. I am touched by its mission: art belongs to everyone. This inclusive philosophy is evident in every aspect of the gallery, from the free admission to the welcoming environment for visitors of all ages. The gallery’s commitment to accessibility is particularly commendable, allowing children to accompany their parents. This ensures that everyone, including families who can’t afford childcare, can enjoy the gallery’s vast and impressive collection. The collection itself is remarkable, featuring masterpieces from renowned artists across various periods and styles. The layout is intuitive, making it easy to navigate through the different galleries. A visit to the National Gallery is not just an exploration of art but an inspirational experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London!

Loved the art. Not much I can add, a lot to process and it feels like moving through history, it’s possible to do so chronologically as well so that is something to try and do. Must visit when in London, top class! Best be there when it opens cause it gets packed throughout the day.

Absolutely a must when in London! It has a large collection of art pieces from ancient to contemporary. One of the special exhibitions: last Caravaggio is small but exceptionally well curated. The gallery is huge, clean and well air conditioned. The queues to enter the Gallery are orderly.
