We really enjoyed our stay as a family of 4. We were given interconnecting rooms which were spotless and roomy. The location was great, very close to superb restaurants and the Columbia Road flower market on Sundays. But the standout for our stay was the little touches and service. Kids got cute little gifts, as did the grownups, and the staff everywhere (reception, restaurant) were engaging and helpful. The popcorn maker was a huge hit and they put too much into the machine! They even helped my son find 10p coins so he could show them his new magic trick. Thank you to all the lovely staff for a wonderful weekend.

This is a wonderful hotel. I travel a lot for work and have very high standards, and this property exceeded my expectations. All of the staff, front desk, etc. were wonderful and very helpful. The rooms and common areas are beautiful. The filtered water, including sparkling!, provided is fantastic and I SO APPRECIATE no plastic water bottles. The pool/hot tub/sauna/steam room are wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic. My stay was so great, I already rebooked for my next work trip to London in 2 weeks. Top notch.

I cannot express enough how incredible the hotel reception staffs are most especially Elena! Her service was absolutely exceptional, and she truly went above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment i stepped through the doors, I was greeted with genuine warmth and enthusiasm that made me feel instantly at home. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, anticipating my needs. They took the time to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Our stay at Montcalm East during Christmas week was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of their extended family. Their warm smiles, attentiveness, and genuine care set the tone for a truly memorable holiday. One of the most delightful surprises was how they went above and beyond to create a festive atmosphere. On Christmas Eve, they brought a charming little Christmas tree to our room, adorned with ornaments. To make it even more special, the tree was accompanied by a selection of festive goodies—a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel magical and cozy. The breakfast at Montcalm East was another highlight. Each morning, we were treated to an incredible spread of fresh pastries, hearty cooked options, and seasonal treats that perfectly complemented the festive spirit. The quality and variety were outstanding, catering to every taste and preference. It was the perfect start to our day before exploring the city. The lobby itself radiated holiday cheer, with beautiful decorations and a welcoming ambiance. The team also provided fantastic recommendations for festive activities and nearby events, ensuring we made the most of our time in London. - London While the bed and shower are perfectly fine, the room itself leaves much to be desired. The lighting is extremely poor, dominated by dim, purple, and red hues that create a dark and unwelcoming atmosphere. Even during the day, natural light is minimal, making the space feel oppressive and somewhat depressing – and I am not someone who is easily affected in this way. If you are staying here purely to sleep and spend no additional time in the room, it might suffice. Otherwise, I would recommend choosing a different hotel for a more comfortable and uplifting experience.
