Amazing location, extremely central and very quiet (had an inwards facing room). Standard double room was on the small side, but for 1-2 adults it’s fine, and with full amenities. It could be a bit more modern and cleaner when I checked in (I had to ask them to come hoover the carpet as I could see dirt very clearly), but housekeeping was daily and did a great job. Really nice breakfast too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely front desk task and very good location! But my god it’s super small it feels like a submarine. One of the rooms was given was said to be double room and the bed was a single bed similar to the single room we had (we measured it as we were skeptical) it’s very old and need major attention in terms of rooms so if you are a family or a couple who needs more space and comfortable this isn’t recommended! If you are a solo traveler this is a great great choice otherwise.

Food was good, good service when you got it. Alot of people waiting to check in but not enough staff to help out. Room was horrible. AC didn't work and really hot. Noticed window was unlocked when I had to open my window because of the heat. I didn't feel safe knowing someone could of come in the window after leaving my stuff. Small lift. Great breakfast buffet.

Unacceptable and Unsafe – A Hotel to Avoid Our stay at this hotel last week was dreadful, marred by an appalling series of events that left us frustrated, exhausted, and feeling completely unsafe. Here’s a comprehensive account of the nightmare we endured: Check-In Process: Upon arrival, we were met with a two-hour delay past our scheduled check-in time. Finally, we were given a room, only to discover it had already been assigned to another guest. This chaotic mistake forced us to endure a crowded, sweltering elevator ride back down to the lobby, where we waited an additional hour for a new room. In total, we wasted 3.5 hours just trying to check-in. Such incompetence is inexcusable. Violent Midnight Disturbance: On Wednesday night, around 4:17 AM, we were abruptly awakened by violent banging on our walls and door handles. Someone was aggressively attempting to break into our room. Despite numerous attempts to contact reception, we were met with silence. The following morning, the hotel manager claimed the building's telephones were down – an outright lie, as the phone had been ringing without answer. Additionally, the manager mentioned that security guards were supposed to vet who enters the building, which clearly did not happen. This gross failure of security left us no choice but to barricade our door and spend the night in fear, unable to sleep. Lack of Accountability and Broken Promises: The building manager assured us that the situation would be rectified, but these were empty promises. Not only did he fail to take any meaningful action, but his promises and lack of carry through added insult to injury. The sheer lack of accountability and concern for guests’ safety is alarming. Far Better Alternatives Nearby: In stark contrast, we moved to The Bloomsbury, just around the corner. The difference was astonishing. The Bloomsbury provided a safe, welcoming environment with friendly and helpful staff. The experience there was everything this hotel failed to deliver. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The gross mismanagement, lack of security, and overall unsafe environment make it a place you do not want to stay. Spend your money elsewhere, where you will be treated with the respect and care you deserve. This hotel is an utter failure, and I hope this review helps others steer clear of the horrendous experience we endured. Save yourself the frustration, fear, and disappointment – look elsewhere for accommodation.

Just received message on a social media platform asking if I could leave a five star review for this hotel, and I will be paid euros. So all these reviews for this hotel must be fake. I will upload the screenshot so people are not getting tricked.
