Acme Fire Cult is a restaurant like no other. A live-fire restaurant from chef Andrew Clarke in Dalston, the bustling heart of Hackney's night life scene. The restaurant comprises a large outdoor terrace with open outdoor kitchen, an indoor dining room and bar. Sister venue, 40FT brewery, is adjacent and also available to hire on request.

Acme Fire Cult is the perfect location for business meetings, weddings, brand launch events, staff parties, birthdays, family gatherings and corporate events.

"It is a demonstration of the virtuous interplay of the best vegetables and the most acutely managed indirect heat and smoke." - Jay Rayner, The Guardian

"The soul of a pyromaniacal Ottolenghi" - Jimi Famurewa

Our heated terrace is well protected from the elements, fully enclosed with a roof and canvas walls, each table has it's own heater, along with sheepskin rugs draped across the seats and an array of blankets - creating a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The heated terrace is also home to our open kitchen, with our talented kitchen team cooking in our wood-fired ovens and grills, it is the theatrical centre-piece to a vibrant and engaging dining experience.

A really fun and delicious meal. The staff are excellent and enhance the experience. My advice would be to go with lots of people so that you can justify ordering as many different things on the menu as possible.

We had a fantastic meal! From the Marmite sourdough to the Ox Cheek Yorkshire pudding and even the buttermilk pudding, everything was delicious and decadent. Bahia and the team were very welcoming and accomodating, and the service was excellent. Perfect for a sunny day! We’ll be back soon!

Acme Fire Cult is a hidden gem in Dalston, reminiscent of a secret BBQ spot tucked away in an industrial setting. This culinary haven offers an array of exceptional dishes, including a generous selection of plant-based options, fresh fish, and succulent meats. With alfresco dining and live grilling, it's an ideal spot for summer gatherings. The ingredients are top-notch, and the menu is brimming with inventive creations, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.

Came here with my mum for my birthday and it was super delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was amazing, loved the marmite bread, leeks, corn and pork chop! So much flavour and interesting mix of dishes! Also loved being able to see the open kitchen on the outdoor tables! Will definitely be back :)

This restaurant has a really cool, fun vibe. The wait staff are super attentive and the food is delicious. We were expecting more meat based dishes but were pleasantly surprised by their veggie options. The grill and creative flavour pairings really make the dishes shine. The food came out very quickly (6 dishes in 25 minutes!?) which made the dining experience feel quite rushed. Dessert was average so would skip that next time. But overall, loved our dinner here!
