Acme Fire Cult is a restaurant like no other. A live-fire restaurant from chef Andrew Clarke in Dalston, the bustling heart of Hackney's night life scene. The restaurant comprises a large outdoor terrace with open outdoor kitchen, an indoor dining room and bar. Sister venue, 40FT brewery, is adjacent and also available to hire on request.

Acme Fire Cult is the perfect location for business meetings, weddings, brand launch events, staff parties, birthdays, family gatherings and corporate events.

"It is a demonstration of the virtuous interplay of the best vegetables and the most acutely managed indirect heat and smoke." - Jay Rayner, The Guardian

"The soul of a pyromaniacal Ottolenghi" - Jimi Famurewa

Our indoor restaurant space can accommodate 40 seated guests or 80 standing. Built in an old printing house with industrial features, this is a unique setting for private dinners, parties and events. A fully serviceable bar, high quality sound system and accessible toilets are all included in the space.

3rd visit here and the food is still incredible. The steak we had was one of the best I've ever had, the leek dish is still as it's best and dont sleep on the desserts, they are incredible as well. Few minor faults with service, but the food is still out of this world

One of my favourite restaurants in London and one with some of the best vegetarian options. I literally have to have the leeks every time I’m there and love sitting on the terrace in summer. Had a great fish dish with a lovely curry sauce last time I visited. Can’t wait to return.

The Sunday lunch was great and a weather appropriate alternative to the usual beige platter drenched in gravy. The smoked meats were the highlight but the accompaniments were also memorable. I recommend the coal roasted leeks and the Acme marmite bread with pecorino as a must!

Good food with some interesting subtle flavour combinations. For some reason I was expecting something a bit more grungy both from the food and atmosphere , it was all quite sedate. Highlight was the butter bean labneh.
