We absolutely enjoyed our stay, reception staff very welcoming. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent quality. The bar waiters were great, very welcoming apart from the bar manager he was very undermining and derogatory to his team, made us feel very uncomfortable to watch.

We only went for lunch so can’t comment on the rooms. The garden space is lovely. The food was well overpriced, we had burgers which were £20 each and lacking anything special. The apple juice I had was from concentrate not fresh juice. Two burgers, a coke, apple juice and some hummus came to almost £60. Lunches took ages to arrive. Most of the staff were avoiding eye contact and not really interested in speaking to you. It’s great for the setting but I wouldn’t bother if you’re interested in tasty food. There are other places around.
