Myself and My partner stayed, the first room we got got given was lake side but it was to far for me to walk, I got cancer, their change the room and was so helpful. On our evening meal gave us a table in a other room. Food was great and the staff was amazing 👏

Our stay started off on a great note, with an excellent check-in experience thanks to Nicola, who acknowledged our Marriott membership and provided wonderful service. Although we had a slight issue with the room (which I’ll detail later), she promptly resolved it by offering us complimentary breakfast, which was fantastic. The breakfast had a huge variety of options, and the team was incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel’s facilities were impressive. The spa team was great, and we loved the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam rooms, and sauna – all of which were in excellent condition. The locker rooms were clean and well-maintained. Though we didn’t get the chance to use the gym, it looked great, and staff mentioned that a refurbishment was coming soon. The grounds and surrounding areas were clean and tidy, with no issues from groundskeeping. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable, and I would highly recommend staying here. I’d definitely return – though next time, I’d choose a standard room. Now for some areas of improvement. Unfortunately, our room (412) did not live up to expectations. We had booked a balcony room but were given one with a patio instead, which was disappointing. The shower head in the bathroom was dirty and covered in grime, the bathroom extractor fan did not work, and the door chain on the back was broken. Additionally, there was paint flaking around the spotlight in the room, making it look quite tired and poorly maintained. To add to the confusion, when we turned on the television, it displayed another guest’s name (Mr. Shaw), which was odd and made the room feel not properly prepared for us. There were also some concerning health and safety issues at the poolside. The maintenance guys were walking in and out without wearing shoe covers, which is not acceptable in that area. Additionally, I saw them using a chair to reach a socket instead of a proper step ladder. These are basic health and safety practices, and it was troubling to see how they presented themselves at the poolside. Despite these maintenance and safety issues, everything else – from the breakfast to the spa and service – was brilliant. If the hotel addresses these problems, it would easily elevate the experience to the next level.

Beautiful building and great setting in a golf course. Staff were super helpful. Room was very nice, only lacking in air conditioning on a couple of very hot nights. Overall excellent value for a very nice hotel.
