December 2024Could not have been looked after any better. Chloe in reception was lovely, bar well stocked with a decent beer and room was fantastic. Will definitely stay again the next time the mighty Notts County play Cheltenham

December 2024Absolutely loved our mini break this December, with a large family group (11 of us over 6 rooms). Staff couldn't have been more helpful and are a real asset! Rooms clean and beds comfy. Really enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel too. Swimming pool with Jacuzzi, be steam room and sauna and fresh towels was a great treat. Lots of great seating areas to hang out as a family and staff also accommodated our large group to eat together at meal times. Hotel isn't so central - but we all took the bus into town, and 94/94X was so frequent it was smooth. Highly recommended this lovely hotel, especially professional wonderful staff and excellent service.

November 2024Stayed for 2 nights either side of a wedding. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed with the standard tea and coffee facilities, excellent spacious bathroom and shower. Breakfasts were filling and tasty, Jenna provided great service at reception. Easy to get to and park as well!

December 2024I had my parents stay here for a few nights. They were not impressed by the room. The carpet was very old and stained, the shower was old and spraying everywhere. Overall the room was super over priced for being so outdated. Also, the WiFi was terrible. They enjoyed the breakfast though.

January 2025Honestly if there was no stars it wouldn't be getting even one. Last Saturday I found myself in a situation I had to escape from in a hurry. I googled the nearest hotel and this one came up. I'm not from England, had no idea where I was so got an Uber to bring me here - again nearest hotel. This was around 2am. I have hypoglycaemia and by the time I got there I felt very faint. There was no one on the desk but this lovely housekeeper helped me to gain receptions attention. A man came out to the desk stuffing his face with food, not even in a uniform just a black hoodie. When I explained that I had been in a frightening scenario his response was 'no we done have room for 'your type.' he looked at me like I was something he had walked on, looking me up and down. He suggested a travel lodge but again 'they won't have any room for you either' like I was either a prostitute or scumbag. I asked if I could sit in reception until I figured out what to do next. His response was 'whatever.' thank goodness for that lovely housekeeper. He walked me out the door and gave me precise instructions to where I should go to get a room until I could catch a flight back home the next day. I imagined my daughter in the same position. It disgusted me. All I wanted was somewhere to go to feel safe.what i got was a disgusted look and walked away. There was rooms available as booking.com would have let me book it but after his attitude, feeling vulnerable and not knowing where I was I just needed somewhere to eat - with low blood sugars - to try and process what had happened that evening and how I would get home. Absolutely no stars. Everyone has the right to feel safe not like they have just commited some crime for needing a room to recoup and get home. Just disgusting.
