Absolutely incredible, the staff are always friendly, helpful, and kind. The views from the hotel are beautiful and it’s truly without fault. My brothers wedding went off without a hitch thanks to the wonderful wedding coordinator. I hope I get the pleasure of staying here again in the not so distant future.

This is a really beautiful, sophisticated, friendly hotel. From the warm arrival by Grant at reception to a very special dining experience at Cloister‘s Restaurant, all was perfect. Simone in the restaurant was amazing. Some of the best food I had and lots of great vegan options. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Sadly only able to enjoy a one night stay in this superb hotel this time, as I was attending an event a few miles away with my best friend. Everything about the hotel exudes a sense of care and attention to detail, with every member of staff going out of their way to ensure guests have a fabulous experience. Our rooms were spotless and the fresh milk and iced water were a nice touch. The mattresses and pillows ensured I drifted into the arms of Morpheus in blissful comfort. Breakfast was excellent. My friend, being coeliac, has to take great care of cross contamination…there were no worries here. The restaurant manager ensured her choice was cooked and served separately. We had a stroll around the beautiful grounds before leaving. The picnic hamper we ordered to take to the event was magnificent (although we ordered far too much food)! Somehow 5 stars does not seem sufficient for this gem of a hotel. I fully intend to return…this time for a longer stay

Stayed a night for a special occasion. Not the cheapest but compared to other hotels at a similar price an exceptional experience. The room was spacious, well equipped and stocked with quality drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive, very helpful and available when needed. We didn't stay for food, maybe next time, but did stay for breakfast and this was one of the highlights. Fantastic variety and quality in the buffet with additional options on a menu too. Beautiful grounds and location too.

Loved our three night stay at this beautiful manner. The service was wonderful! The parking was convenient. We enjoyed the breakfast every day and it was delicious each time. We were especially impressed with the location. It was nice to be close to Bath but not right and city. The bus service is a walk down the hill. The first day we were there was Sunday, so it was less accessible but after that it was quick and easy. It’s a little bit of a walk, but well worth it to not be right in the town and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Best room of our 18 day trip. Hope to return again some day!
