We stayed for two nights in one of the rooms in the main historic building and loved our stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy. The staff were great, being very accommodating and friendly without being overbearing. We enjoyed a lunch outside which was very pleasant (very nice views and grounds) and the food was great. The hotel bar was also a very great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The breakfast was also high quality and one of the better cooked breakfasts i've enjoyed at a hotel in the UK. The hotel is a little outside the centre of Bath which was actually something we very much enjoyed as Bath can be very busy on the weekend. Getting a bus or taxi into the city was quick, easy and cheap.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel for 2 nights. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, loved the Christmas trees and decorations throughout the hotel, very festive! We were welcomed at reception by Deborah who was super friendly and helpful! Room was clean, spacious but cosy, bed extremely comfortable! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, staff at breakfast were friendly! Drinks at the bar were a perfect way to round off our evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here for my wedding anniversary weekend celebration. Was perfect. The location is close to the city centre. But far enough to feel like we were in a peaceful retreat away from the bustle. The grounds are beautiful with lovely views over Bath. Our room was more than just comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was a real treat. Felt spoilt. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back. Thank you.

One night stay in this superb hotel,I must say the staff are the friendliest we have ever encountered, the warm welcome at reception set the tone for our stay. A long tree lined driveway leads up to a striking hotel, car park with disabled ramp on either side, the old building has reception and bars plus other rooms we didn't venture in,we had a couple drinks in the bar before a short taxi ride into Bath (£10). Cheese and biscuits on return and a night cap. Room was in the new block, excellent access from the old building. Room spotless no complaints at all. Breakfast a real feast for the eyes it was buffet style plenty of options, staff floating around cleaning tables very efficiently. A wonderful stay.

Visited recently and had an amazing visit! The hotel itself is beautiful, all of the staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful and the room was lovely with all of the amenities you'd need. The breakfast was delicious and although we didn't eat in the restaurant, the food we saw looked amazing. There's a bus stop a 2 minute walk outside of the hotel, which is about a 10 minute drive, so great accessibility into the city centre. Overall, we had a lovely stay, would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area.
