Fabulous meal last week. Everything was so fresh, and all made to order. The staff were utterly charming. Can’t wait to return.

We were recommended this place on our trip to Bath, so booked ourselves in for a visit. We decided on the taster menu, with wine pairings, and were not disappointed. Food was delicious, a good range of courses, with well thought out wines to accompany. Our waitress, Angelina, was fantastic, chatty, offering help and advice throughout our meal, most useful as it was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant. We loved it, thanks so much for a fab evening!

Really difficult place to review as some dishes were great, others not so much. The wagu beef was delicious and we ordered 2 portions. The spicy chicken was fine, great flavour, but the meat was a bit fatty and tasteless. The ribs didn't taste nice. They are quite tough and tasted old. Not fresh, didn't fall off the bone. Tasted like they'd been out all day and reheated. The bao Buns hardly contained any meat and we're a bit disappointing. Buns tasted fresh, but bit underwhelming. We had a really friendly and helpful waitress who helped massively with our decisions and was lovely. The atmosphere was good. I might try again for smaller plates, but not as good as it could be.

Food looked good but lacked flavour. Everything seemed to be covered in sichuan sauce so all the dishes had the same flavour. The gyozas were poor and I found the frozen cook at home itzu ones far superior. Service was good, but unfortunately we were sat on a table by a wall covered in fruit flies so we had to battle them for the majority of the evening. Considerably better restaurant options in Bath than this.
