Sketchley Grange Hotel

We spent 3 nights here in a family room with 2 children. The room was clean, tidy and wasn't too small for 4 of us and the bed was big and comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely and a really good size with a hot tub, sauna and steam room. We had one meal in the restaurant, although the food was good it was really overpriced so wouldn't eat there again. Overall, we would definitely stay here again as a family!

Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Hotel very nice and room had two double beds which were actually two sets of single beds pushed together. Wasn’t very comfortable as you could feel the middle and this wasn’t what it said on the tin. Room service was great and quality of food was excellent with them cooking sea bass for my partner which wasn’t on the room service option. Very impressed with the gent on the phone couldn’t do enough to help us. Young team by the looks of it and seems a friendly work culture. Rooms had breakfast trays outside the rooms still at 2pm so this may need to be addressed with cleaners. It was very crowded in all facilities such as sauna, steamer and jacuzzi which we didn’t get to use before it closed at 7pm even though we go into spa area at 4pm. Lots of excited ladies running up and down corridor finished off with somebody setting the fire alarm off at 4:30am. This was probably not the norm but I would suggest that people who aren’t in a wedding party are informed before booking that this may impact the experience of their stay due to overcrowded facilities and noisy wedding party. I did explain all of this to the lady in the desk and reiterated how helpful they had been. We will check for functions before considering again.
