November 2024Lovely location, just near a golf field! Nice and quiet for a night stay and absolutely lovely sauna and steam. Enjoyed them, however the jacuzzi water was quite unexpectedly cold. Overall, a nice small spa after a long day is always welcome 😉!

December 2024This hotel is absolutely stunning. Stayed in a lodge, beautiful room, spacious size, very clean. Very polite and helpful staff. The only downside is the walls seem very thin so you can hear everythink the the lodge next door, but I suppose that can't be helped. Great amount of parking. Would definitely stay again but for more than 1 night

December 2024Went with my children and grandchildren to Lunch with Santa on Sunday 15th. It was amazing from start to finish. The Windmill suite was laid out beautifully. The staff were all 1st class. Entertainment for the children was the best we had been to. Mark (dressed as the Grinch) was awesome. He kept the children and adults entertained for the whole 4 hours. We had such good fun. Santa and his elf helper spent time with every child. The food, all 3 courses, was delicious, and well presented. My grandchildren , Thomas, Connie and Bella, had a great time and so did we. Thank you everyone !

November 2024Would have given the hotel 5 stars but they let themselves down by not cleaning the room, even though we left the "service room" note on the door. Had to ask them to clean the room and was told housekeeping would come at 5pm. Took 55 min to get the room serviced. By which time we were going to be late for a 20th Wedding anniversary meal. SPA was lovely. Food was amazing!!!

November 2024Went for a gin experience to celebrate my 60th birthday. Gin experience was brilliant, Rob was great fun and knowledgeable , no half measures, learned lots and really enjoyed it. Food and setting in Loft 18 was really good, dinner was very good as was self service breakfast. Room very dated, needs some serious updating. Mattress needs replacing , bathroom adequate but not luxurious. Soft furnishings tired and threadbare. Not what I would expect from a best western plus hotel. Staff welcoming and friendly.
