An excellent night away. All the staff were top quality that I encountered, and the main restaurant 3-course offering was fantastic. The jus and mushroom paste they provided for the chicken was the best I've tasted and the caramel and cherry marquis that I was recommended did not disappoint. Great style and well balanced throughout.

Good hotel if you’re going to the airport early hours. Staff are brilliant. Spa facility is very run down and not the cleanest, no soap in the showers. Rooms a little dated but ok for one night. Restaurant is very expensive and very poor quality. If the staff wasn’t nice the place would get 1 star !

Went there for a spa day and the staff were attentive to the fact that I missed my original appointment and kindly slotted me in for another one. The receptionist was nice and the hotel itself was nice however if you’re not great at directions you’ll think it’s like a maze aha. Receptionist for the spa was a young south Asian lady, she was really nice and made me feel really comfortable upon arrival. Although there was a lot of poc staff (mostly south asian and one black woman) Disclaimer to people of colour or specifically I would say if you’re black, you’re going to have a lot of white people staring at you as if you don’t belong there, mainly the older generation. If that doesn’t phase you then you’ll have a great time. At the end of the day you are entitled to the space just as much as they are so enjoy yourself and take up space, you deserve some relaxation and nice experience too. The spa room was nice and relaxing however the towels on the massage bed were dirty which originally through me off but the staff member changed them for me. The pure bliss spa day (£126) is what I had, options of two treatments for 25 minutes. I chose full body exfoliation along with the hand and foot massage. Finished early but it could be cause I was a little late. The treatment itself felt really refreshing and the staff member (young white woman with freckles apologies I forgot her name) was kind and gentle, made sure to ask me if I was comfortable throughout the treatments. Would recommend. Would I recommend a spa day? Yes But not too sure about whether I would stay there overnight for my safety.
