Went with my partner for a weekend trip and it exceeded expectations, good value for money. Location close to Cheddar Gorge (15min) by car and to the beach (20 min). The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Spa was quite good we went to the swimming pool and the steam room which was great. We also booked a couples massage that was super relaxing, we felt so refreshed and rested I would definitely recommend as it was a very good price for a 1 hour massage. The bar and restaurant are a bit pricey but it was good food and lovely atmosphere. The outside area had gorgeous views too. Service is amazing and attentive. The hotel is old style and historic, almost medieval, which we personally liked. If you expect super luxury and modern hotel then its probably not the place but then again the price is amazing for everything offered. Probably one of the best 3⭐️ hotel we have been to. The only downside to our room was the curtains as they did let some light in which in the morning felt quite bright.

Lovely Spa. Loved the steam room. Breakfast was really yummy and rooms had everything you need. Shower in the room was lovely and powerful. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Stayed for one evening for a wedding and was a beautiful venue.

A comfortable, quiet stay in a convenient location, in the heart of Somerset and near the M5 corridor. There are great views of the Somerset countryside from this hotel. There is a gym and swimming pool here, as well as a sauna and steam room which guests can use for free. I found the steam room was too hot go sit inside and the swimming pool was small and crowded so it may be better to arrive early. The gym is good and spacious with a good range of free weights and resistance machines.

Staff were very friendly when we arrived, and during our stay they were very polite and helpful, unfortunately the breakfast staff let the whole team down. No where to be seen for quite some time and then we wanted to order something from the kitchen, which was terrible, the breakfast is very poor quality, clearly some items are microwaved which was confirmed by the waitress. Furniture was very dirty and the whole place needs a good scrub. Room was very small and bed tiny, not worth the money we paid. However, the old building features are beautiful, yet the additions are in desperate need of some TLC, for the short term I suggest a deep clean.

Dear Manager, I am writing to express my utter disappointment with my recent stay at Webbington Hotel and Spa. Frankly, it was a nightmare I won’t forget—though I wish I could! First, the cups provided were ridiculously small, paired with oversized spoons that caused spills with the slightest stir. It’s a simple detail, yet it made for a messy start to my mornings. To add insult to injury, the alarm going off at 11 PM the first night and 2 AM the second was absolutely unacceptable. Who wants to be jolted awake during their stay? It was infuriating! The service was another letdown. One receptionist displayed a shocking lack of customer service skills, while the new receptionist was a breath of fresh air—too bad I had to deal with the former first. And then there was breakfast. The soggy fried toast on a covered hot plate looked unappetizing, and to top it off, my friend suffered from diarrhea after eating your sausages. This is not just disappointing; it’s unacceptable! I left a day early and will never return. Your establishment needs serious improvements.
