New Bath Hotel, Exclusive Hire

My partner and I recently booked a weekend stay at the New Bath Hotel and Spa. While the hotel appeared more dated in person than it did in the photos, and our room was a bit cold, the overall experience was not bad. We chose to dine at a nearby pub instead of the hotel restaurant due to more affordable prices, so I cannot comment on the food quality. When ordering drinks at the hotel bar, we never had to wait more than five minutes. The staff were friendly, and the massage spa treatment was brilliant. However, we were disappointed to learn that the facial treatment we booked separately was already included in the massage package, with no option for a refund. This aspect of the website can be misleading. Despite these issues, our stay was relatively pleasant, and the hotel has its positives.

I would like to say the rooms are lovely and clean. Cold but there is a stand alone heater which did warm the room up. The bed was so comfortable. The staff are run off their feet but great. And the spa is also nice. That unfortunately is where it ends. The evening meal; we were served with bread it was like concrete and we could not even cut it with knife. The main course was ok but £60.00 not worth it. Breakfast £15.00 pounds each. This was a massive disapointment. Cannot even bring fresh tea or coffee to the table. Not worth the money we decided to not have it the next day. This is a hotel that could be amazing and I realize that it needs a lot of investment but at the moment I could not recommend this to anyone.
