Nice location and a good size room on the 4the floor with a view of the castle. Breakfast was standard but good. Staff was very helpful and nice!

FIVE star service and hotel!!! Staff were amazing, they made our trip feel very special. Smiles all round from the staff. In particular Rory at the bar, great recommendations and even better cocktails. Nothing seemed to be a hassle to him. Room was amazing with just the best views. If anyone hasn’t tried the sky bar then they are missing out.

**A Must-Visit Hotel!** I had an incredible stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. From the moment we arrived, the reception and lobby were pristine and welcoming, setting the tone for a great experience. I’d like to give special thanks to Savia, the front of house manager, who was exceptional in her service. She made our check-in and check-out process seamless and even upgraded our room to a King bed with a stunning castle view, which was an amazing surprise! The reception staff was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The bar staff was equally impressive, friendly, and well-trained, providing top-notch service. The breakfast had a great variety of options to choose from, ensuring there was something for everyone. I truly loved my stay here and will definitely be visiting again in the future. A wonderful hotel that exceeded all expectations!

Great hotel, right within walking distance of everything. Lovely reception staff check in wasn't until 3pm but got there at 10.30 to drop bags and explore and room was ready ! (Fantastic) My only issue with the room was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. For the cost of the room id have expected this. Would recommend and stay again however.

Very nice hotel, amazingly friendly staff. We had an issue with our booking that was quickly resolved with a smile. And the cookie you get on checking makes the whole experience feel much more homely. You can buy the cookies which I would recommend :-)

Good hotel and very comfy beds, and great breakfast. Just suffers the same as most historic city hotels - crappy 2nd floor windows that aren't insulated properly. Stayed here before on 1st floor and had a great experience with really quiet rooms. Unfortunately on the second floor you get to listen to the traffic and local night clubs. Bring ear plugs if you stay on a weekend! Other that that it is a v nice hotel.

First off, the hotel staff are amazing. Easily the best part of the stay. The rooms are spacious, however a bit more drawer space for clothes would be nice. The bathrooms are small. If you have two or more people in room, there simply isn't enough room for shower kits and toiletries for everyone in the bathroom. The location is amazing. 15 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Fantastic restaurants in even shorter walking distance.

Great location and lovely view of the castle. Breakfast good and very reasonably priced considering you can eat as much as you want. Room had two double beds and spotless but very narrow and with the connecting door (which I don't like) you felt as if you were virtually in the same room as next door. Reception chaotic, we kept getting letters posted under our door saying we owed money when we clearly didn't! However don't want to come across as negative as the good far outweighed the bad!

Nice Hilton property in Edinburgh close to the Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. We were here for 2 nights and the stay was comfortable. The room had adequate facilities including a refrigerator and coffee maker. We were offered a discounted price for the all you can eat breakfast at the Bread Street Brasserie restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff here were very cordial. Overall a great stay!
