Our Bread Street Brasserie serves delicious food, using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. It is a great spot for a rehearsal dinner, breakfast or lunch the day after your wedding.
The Monboddo bar is perfect for a nightcap after a full day of celebrations. The bar is licensed until 1am and later for residents.
We understand that every couple is different and so rather than having set wedding packages, we will tailor the details of the day to suit your requirements to make sure you can have the perfect day.

Of course, we know you want to experience the breath taking view in person so why not come along to our wedding open day?! Visit us on the 17th September between 11am and 3pm to meet the team as well as our favourite suppliers. You will have the opportunity to discuss your needs with the people that will work together to make your wedding a dream come true.

November 2024Really good location. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Everything was pretty good. My only two suggestions for improvements would be shower curtains to avoid water splashing out from the shower, and better coffee in the breakfast buffet. It tasted like tea with a hint of coffee.

December 2024Very present stay and feel very welcome here the team members of all are very nice especially Savia who treat us very well ! I like the location here , not to close to train station but close enough to walk to Edinburgh Castle and walk to Hay Market / Grass Market and St. Giles Cathedral The room in old building makes us feel we go back in time with the story behind. Breakfast is good more choices and they serve hot meal cook to order which is very rare to find now in UK Our room can see some buildings of Edinburgh Castle 🥰

September 2024We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our recent stay for my mother's birthday. Initially, we encountered a small issue with a leak in our original room, but the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They moved us to the Presidential Suite, which was an incredible upgrade. The suite was spacious, luxurious, and had everything we could have asked for. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Their exceptional service made us feel truly welcome. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

December 2024Good location within walking distance to everywhere in downtown Edinburgh. Hotel and rooms are rather “historic” but nothing to complain about. My room has the very pleasant castle view. Lou at the front desk offered lots of help during check in and on other matters!

December 2024Stayed for 5 nights in October. As Diamond members we were upgraded to a castle view room which was spacious, clean and had a nice fruit and chocolate plate upon arrival. Breakfast was nice and includes a buffet and menu to pick made to order items. About a 5-10minute walk to many main sites of the city. Staff was lovely and we would stay again.

Invalid DateVery nice hotel, amazingly friendly staff. We had an issue with our booking that was quickly resolved with a smile. And the cookie you get on checking makes the whole experience feel much more homely. You can buy the cookies which I would recommend :-)

Invalid DateFirst off, the hotel staff are amazing. Easily the best part of the stay. The rooms are spacious, however a bit more drawer space for clothes would be nice. The bathrooms are small. If you have two or more people in room, there simply isn't enough room for shower kits and toiletries for everyone in the bathroom. The location is amazing. 15 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Fantastic restaurants in even shorter walking distance.

Invalid DateNice Hilton property in Edinburgh close to the Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. We were here for 2 nights and the stay was comfortable. The room had adequate facilities including a refrigerator and coffee maker. We were offered a discounted price for the all you can eat breakfast at the Bread Street Brasserie restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff here were very cordial. Overall a great stay!
