Novotel London Stansted Airport, Albury

It was 4 nights parking and 1 night stay with Novotel. All went smoothly , initially. Room was also OK. The child bed had a dip in the middle which meant my child had to sleep in one side. She is only 4, so had to support her with pillows. We didn't say anything as it was only a night. Something the management might want to consider going forward. The bathroom didn't have any extractor so it was getting stuffy and smelly quickly. Room AC was great. Double bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we were miss informed from the front desk that breakfast is still 11am , may be she didn't realise it was Saturday the next day so BF is only till 10am. We arrived at 1010 and was told breakfast has ended. Nevertheless we managed to grab the final stuff but had to eat really quickly as we could feel the pressure to vacate the premise as staffs were roaming around us with mop buckets. Other than that all were fine.

We stayed two nights. Everything was quite fine until our second night. I was woken up by the hotel staff having a loud conversation with a guest at 3.30AM in front of my door (they were talking to the guest next door). The conversation was ongoing for quite a long time until I had enough, opened my door and asked them to be quiet, but even after that the conversation continued for a few minutes. This was obviously not an emergency so the staff should have solved the issue the guest was having by talking to him in the lobby or in his room since it was in the middle of the night. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately I wasn't able to fall a sleep again so my night was ruined.
