Location, service and rooms - everything was outstanding!!! It was a one night business trip and you could feel like home! Big quiet room even though it’s in the centric location 2 mins walking from Liverpool Street metro station. A huge bed with extremely comfy mattress! Friendly and helpful staff. Great experience!!!

This property is really a jewel in Hyatt's collection and does everything exceptionally well. The front desk staff are really accommodating, the rooms are extremely comfortable and quiet, and the location is unbeatable, just 200ft from Liverpool St Station and the Elizabeth line. Beyond the beautifully restored historic building, there are dozens of little touches that make the stay memorable. The free mini bar is very welcome, the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, and the always-available espresso machine in the lobby was a fantastic sight at the end of the day. There are also many hidden things - free yoga on Sunday, free tours of the areas. You have to look at internal signs to see these, but again it's all part of a really well thought-out experience. This was an exception hotel all around.

We just wrapped up a fantastic 4 minute stay here with two little kids. This is an incredible hotel, it’s in a historic building over 100 years old, it’s above Liverpool station which is really convenient, inside is quirky and fun with lots of cool classes like the DJ lessons on Thursday evening and yoga in their masonic room. I have to give a massive shout out to Sarah who checked us in - she was so kind, helped us with restaurant reservations , hand wrote a welcome letter, left two little teddy bears for the kids. We loved our suite, spacious and comfortable. Blown away by the service and amenities here, highly recommend it!

I'm afraid I'm not impressed with my stay and considering the high price i was left disappointed. We stayed for a night last Saturday and were exited as the reviews seemed fantastic. The staff were very polite and professional. Once in our room (304) on the surface it seemed perfect. Unfortunately reality.. The bathroom: every time you run the water or use the toilet an awful plumbing sound would screech which would last a long time and you certainly couldn't sleep through it. The large bed - great - but it's 2 mattresses put together and one side was very uncomfortable and uneven. Then to find a stain on the pillow cover was very disappointing indeed. I reported all this to the main reception. I was then seen by the supervisor and though very apologetic was not able to confirm what if any compensation. He took my email and said he would contact me. A couple of days later i was offered apologies and points to use at any hotel.. I replied that for me this was not good enough and money off this stay or a much better gesture of this hotel would be to comp the night stay. That would certainly make we want to come back and recommend this hotel. I have been charged a high price of £382 for this negative experience (as yet have never even been sent a bill). The only positives are the politeness of staff and breakfast.
