Stayed at this hotel from 06/12 - 07/12, was hands down the best stay this year, even after booking through Virgin experience days and having the Dalston room unavailable, the staff accommodated kindly with a room upgrade for my partner and I to a suite! which was much appreciated by the way, I want to give a big shoutout to the team that day, will definitely be staying here again as I didn’t get to try the heated pool or sauna even the spa!

We had the BEST afternoon tea - with champagne. The food was delicious, The service (Lalit and team) excellent - And the venue quirky / Interesting! What better way to spend a damp Saturday afternoon? We’ll be back.

A spectacular hotel, inside and out, great location (10mins from Old Street Station) and wonderful spa facility. Staff are so welcoming and attentive. They explain everything well and really seem to care that you have a wonderful experience there. A gem of a place, unknown to us until now. We'll definitely be going back!! (FYI, the changing rooms for the spa facility are communal, so you have to be fairly comfortable being naked/semi-naked getting changed in front of others. Other than that, the facilities are all you need to relax - pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and treatments available)

I booked for my mother in law and I to have a spa day at Beauty and Melody Spa and afternoon tea afterwards. The atmosphere was wonderful in this hotel with an intriguing history. We had the most amazing time together! The spa facilities are great and all the staff are very attentive, smiley and respectful. The afternoon tea was delicious and of great quality too! Beyond the fantastic facilities of this hotel and luxury decor, it’s the staff that left a warm and lasting impression. I especially went to thank: Vishal (who greeted us and escorted us to the spa and for afternoon tea) and to Deepen and Lalit (for taking great care of us during our afternoon tea and checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed). We will definitely be back again!!

Staff weren’t very helpful when I asked them where to go. Had to ask multiple times due to a lack of signage and was not helped. Room wasn’t very nicely decorated, very dark. No place to get ready (e.g. makeup & hair). The lights were all bright white - very unwelcoming. Shower head could have done with a clean and TV didn’t work. Not what you would expect from a five star hotel. I’ve had better experiences in a premier inn!
