The staff are lovely. Mahesh restaurant manager does an efficient, caring job in taking care of things. Rado in the restaurant also great guy who pays attention. Julia at reception is lovely. Food is excellent, well done chef. Feature rooms = needs attention. Nice space but basically bare. The small fridge requires you to kneel down to access it which isn’t great.

Stayed Friday to Sunday on a package deal which included dinner one night and breakfast x 2. I asked for a quiet room which we got but due to the very cold weather snap we had and the large room size with high ceilings it was quite chilly. The hot air heating was inadequate. Our issue was treated with the utmost understanding and respect, an offer of 2 different rooms or several portable heaters for the original room were given and I was not made to feel difficult or awkward. Such exemplary customer service by Anya I think her name was, I was very impressed. The dining room staff were also amazing especially as a large function had taken place and everyone descended together for breakfast! I was return here with pleasure! Well done everyone, great job!

Evening Meal and Breakfast food was excellent. Bar prices typically London, so reasonable. Restaurant areas very nice. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and well presented and of good size. Aircon fan was too noisy to leave on overnight. Fuse box in wardrobe made humming noise. Great views over the lake. Altogether great stay and I would stay here again.
