Attended last night as we got a voucher for Christmas last year and just forgot all about it. Can honestly say it was the NICEST meal I’ve ever had in my life. I had the chicken liver parfait as a starter, the duck breast for main, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The waiter was very knowledgeable about accompanying wines and they went perfectly with our food. All 4 of us can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but wow. The Sunday dinner was one of the best we’ve had, the beef melted in your mouth. Can’t fault the portion sizes with a good selection of trimmings. We enjoyed the desserts and cocktails just as much. Personal preference would be if they could offer the cauliflower cheese as an additional extra (only because I love cauliflower cheese). Definitely a hidden gem, we can’t wait to visit here again!

We visited here as part of a walking food tour. The building is beautiful with loads of history and a beautiful garden to dine in if you get good weather. We only had 1 course here but it was my favourite. Well presented and so tasty. This was whipped goats cheese with beetroot and candied walnuts, served with onion sourdough.

Lovely three course lunch. Sat in the courtyard as it was a beautiful day Cocktails didn't have much taste so shall order a different one next time. The starter was really delish but the cheese cake dessert was light and creamy and tart. Really delicious. The service was lovely couldn't have been friendlier. Can't wait to come back

Visited here as part of a private function. Lovely venue with a lot of history. Venue was very nicely decorated and a lot of quirky furniture made for a great atmosphere. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent quality and very tasty. Drinks reasonably priced given the venue and location. Highly recommend for an intimate private function.
