Manchester Art Gallery, The Atrium

During my recent visit to the Manchester Art Museum, I was amazed by the remarkable collection of art on display. First impressions last.. as we walked into the main entrance we where met by the most cheerful person ever... who gave us all the information with regards the art and also directions externally to our final destination that was only a few steps away. The cafe area was spotless and hassle free... a massive pot of tea for 2 for £4 that made up 4 and a bit cuppas we where made up. Well worth a visit allow a few hours to get around as lots to see.

Great place with exquisite exhibits! The size of the place is also just right--not too big and not too small. Had a good time looking around the paintings here. Free admission, as is expected of most galleries and museums in the UK. Museum shop was very affordable too. Great place to kill some time or have some solitude. Wouldn't mind visiting again!
