We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mo and the entire team at Lea Marston for making our family’s stay an unforgettable experience. As a family that frequently travels across the country due to our work commitments, we can confidently say that Lea Marston stands out as the most welcoming, friendly, and pet-friendly hotel we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. This is the reason why we consistently choose Lea Marston whenever we travel north. This particular trip was different from our usual overnight stays. We had booked a three-night stay to celebrate our son’s first birthday, which made it even more special. We Felt so welcome we extended our stay. We used Lea Marston as a base to visit our family, and in turn, they graciously welcomed us to their hotel. The team at Lea Marston went above and beyond to ensure that every need of our family was met, making our son’s first birthday truly memorable. The leisure facilities at Lea Marston were fantastic and perfectly suited for our son to enjoy his birthday in the pool. Lea Marston and the team behind it are an absolute credit to the hospitality industry. The team members were incredibly brilliant, and we extend our deepest gratitude for making our son’s first birthday so unforgettable.

We booked a spa day overnight stay for myself and friends. We had such a lovely time. Spa was fab which included steam, sauna and jacuzzi. We had dinner booked and we wanted a last minute lunch which Connor booked us all in. Connar went all out for us, he was absolutely brilliant and so attentive and made sure we all had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Had a nice time with friends for a double birthday celebrations. Everything was superb. Loved their hot pool, steam room and sauna. Also had a lovely face and back massage which was done by Tamsyn. I loved it!! Thank you so much also to receptionist Emma for calling the taxi on my behalf and for chasing it up when it didn't arrive as promised. I'd say everyone we came across was really kind and helpful.

The reviews really tell a story about this hotel, which is one of a variety of experiences and quality standards. Our room was clean enough, the beds very comfortable and the bedding excellent. But some aspects of the room were disappointing: the lighting isn't brilliant, the bathroom radiator was turned off, with no way of turning it on, and oddly, there was no bathroom fan, so the steamy atmosphere tended to spread into the bedroom. But I understand that costs are escalating and revenues most likely not rising in proportion. In the circumstances our experience was perfectly acceptable for a two night stay. My wife told me her pool experience was good, the breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice and good quality. All in all I'd certainly stay here again.

My partner and I recently went to this hotel for a spa break. I appreciated the free parking and WiFi. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage and a TV. However, the sink in the bathroom did not drain properly. The grouting in between the bathroom tiles was mouldy. The heating stayed on all night and couldn’t be turned off. We couldn’t open the window much for security reasons because we were on the ground floor. The bedding was too thick, making it uncomfortably warm at night. The hotel had great amenities like a gym, pool, and sauna, and breakfast was nice. Unfortunately, dinner was disappointing. It was a set menu. The starter arrived quickly but the main course took over an hour to arrive, and when it did, it was essentially chicken and chips. Dessert was okay. The spa experience was also frustrating – our treatment was moved from Friday evening to Saturday morning with little notice, due to staffing. The dual treatment room we had booked wasn’t available, even though we had paid for it in our original booking. My massage was good, but the facial wasn’t personalised and caused a breakout afterwards. The spa break package is a great idea because accommodation, food and spa treatments are taken care of. So, less planning needed. Unfortunately, given the overall experience here, I wouldn’t return.
