We really enjoyed our stay this weekend. Hotel staff were kind and helped us out after getting caught in the rain with extra towels. Whilst the food wasn't fine dining - more pub style, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and were never left hungry (on the contrary - really full!) The spa facilities were good and we found ourselves feeling really relaxed after a stay there. Lots of folks were really friendly. There were a couple of Xmas parties on that were busy but we both slept well despite going to bed early. Both slept well in a huge bed with blackout curtains meaning not only did we go to bed early but we also slept late! Thankfully breakfast was still going and we enjoyed local stuff like Tamworth and Kingsbury Water Park. Were so grateful to be able to bring our dog, meaning we didn't have to worry about her. And the room was plenty big enough to have her bed set up too. She was welcome in the bar and pub. Not in the breakfast bar, understandably, but you can take your meal into the bar. Perfect. Small suggestions for improvements would be: Another coffee machine at breakfast. Queues were long and the machine was slow. Also we certainly would have spent a bit more behind the bar if the price was more reasonable. Drinks were very expensive. But this isn't unusual for a hotel. Thanks again.

Had a really great stay this weekend at Lea Marston's. I did read reviews prior but I didn't have any of the issues others had. All the staff we came in to contact with were so friendly and happy to help. Our room was lovely and spacious, with comfortable bed too. We came for a spa break and there weren't any robes in the room but a quick trip to reception and that was sorted. The treatments in the spa were amazing, I'd never had a massage before so was a bit nervous but my therapist was great and made me feel at ease. We had an evening meal booked in the restaurant ,which was really good and staff again were great. We struggled to find it as it isn't well signposted so ended up on Hathaways pub but the staff there guided us to where we needed to be. We didn't have a drink there but the bar area looked really nice. Only couple of downsides were, a few loud guests in the early hours waking us up (not the hotel's fault) but walls are quite thin. We also used the leisure activities as soon as it opened Sunday morning (8am) but the pool isn't very big if you're actually wanting to swim lengths. There were already 4 people in there swimming, and although it doesn't sound like many people, you can't really fit many more if you're wanting to swim the length of the pool, which I can imagine coming later in the day would be very tricky as it isn't wide enough. The spa bath /Jacuzzi was nice and steam room and sauna also were good. Would've liked to do more swimming but the pool isn't big enough really. Overall, a fantastic stay and would recommend to others. Great staff, everywhere clean and tidy, good food and good value. Thank you!

Stayed in the hotel, for an event, with my husband and daughter. Food was very basic, dry pork and chicken. Very tasteless. Breakfast was, again, very basic although the breakfast room was pleasent and comfortable and staff was very helpful. Our bedroom was a family room at a cost of £147. The room is not worth the price. The room was clean. But the facilities were very poor. We were in a family room, 3 people, we got two cups and two glasses. One night table between 3, had to used the chair from the dressing table as a night table. One small pot of shampoo and one small pot of shower gel for three people. When booking we were told that we could use the spa facilities. When we went to the spa we were told that our room, again priced at £147, didn't allow us to have a dressing gown. We had to pay and extra £5 each! Once we got in the changing rooms it looked like we step back on time. The changing room was dated and not very cleaned. When we went into the pool area it didn't looked any better. We had to leave our towels on the wall as there are not hooks in the wall to enable people to hang their towels. The water in the pool looked very dirty and after hesitating got in with my daughter. Started swimming and felt something on my arm. There was a roll of hair tangled to my arm. I could not believe it and felt very angry with myself as I I knew it didn't look clean.

Shower does not drain so you stand in your own dirt. Shower head does not stay in its holder, keeps falling down. Room so dark we couldn't see in our suitcases. Drunk people walking around banging bottles talking loud at 01:30am! Terrible rubber fried eggs at breakfast. Bacon so hard it could not be cut with a knife. I could carry on but I'll let you go see for yourselves. The people in this country have got really low standards. Rather pay half the price at a travelodge or premier inn. Thank God it was only one night.

I do not usually write a review, but felt so disappointed on this occasion, I felt it completely necessary. I have attended and arranged numerous venues at the Lea Marston Hotel and always been really satisfied with the location and service provided, that was until yesterday, 30 December 2024. My partner had booked an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast for us both. On the morning my partner was really unwell with a sickness bug so I contacted Lea Marston Hotel to explain the situation and rearrange, it was obvious he was too unwell to go. I was told that all they could do was change the name on the booking after seeking advice from the manager. I again explained that it was a totally unavoidable situation, and that we wanted to attend but my partner was ill. I was then informed that they could not rearrange but could offer room service! Not really acceptable and very disappointing from a hotel I would have always recommended. I sadly will not be returning.
