With a choice of three function suites for your celebrations, we have the capacity for events from two to four hundred of your guests and with 138 luxury bedrooms, your guests can relax and enjoy your special day with us.
The Earls Suite is the largest event suite in the hotel seating up to 350 of your guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 400 for an evening reception. The Earls Suite can be subdivided to cater for smaller weddings and features neutral decoration, allowing you to theme the room in any way you desire.
The Caslon Suite caters for the smaller celebration and again, sub-divides into two rooms; The Hackett Suite and the Newbolt Suite, with each side seating up to 60 for your meal and with a total capacity of up to 180 for an evening event.
The Earls and Caslon Suites are both licensed to hold civil ceremonies.
Faradays Restaurant caters for the more intimate wedding, seating 40 guests for a wedding breakfast and 100 for an evening reception. The restaurant benefits from panoramic views over the picturesque waterfront marina.

April 2024Just spent one night here and arrived quite late, but the room was lovely. Spacious, clean, comfy bed, a little old fashioned but absolutely fine for the price. Easy check-in and friendly staff. I didn't have breakfast or food there so can't comment on those. I think there'd been a function at the hotel that evening, as there were some quite loud, probably drunk, guests in the halls late at night, so it was a bit noisy at times, but all in all a pleasant stay.

May 2024Everything about this hotel is fantastic, this is the second time we have visited and, yet again, we had a fabulous time. The staff go above and beyond, breakfast is varied and great to have the pancake maker (our little one loved this!). Immaculate room and lovely swimming pool too. Thank you, we'll be back again soon.

May 2024We attended an organised event here and it couldn’t have gone better! The staff are amazing and really made our time here fantastic. Adam, Vicky, David, Liam and Molly were all amazing! Customer service is obviously important to all the members of staff here and it shows! We also use the spa and had a massage and all the staff there were also friendly and helpful. Copthorne management you should be very proud of you team as they are fabulous! Thank you for a great stay.

March 2024Convenient location with a large car park. Welcome by reception staff was great. We'd checked in online and asked for our room to be cool. The room was extremely well presented, comfortable and clean. Heating was off in the room and a whisper-quiet fan left for us too. Very impressed! Breakfast was really good, piping hot, plenty of choice and all good quality. N

May 2024I had fabulous weekend break there. Great location, close to shopping centre. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was amazing. The spa was great too. The room was immaculate. Bed was super comfortable, however the window latch was not working and I couldn't shut the window. It wasn't an issue for me, however, as there were some events nearby at night and it was very noisy, I couldn't get some sleep. The maintenance gentleman did come to check it when I informed reception and was I was offered to change the room. I declined as I was too tired. Overall I had a great stay there and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for the great service copthorne hotel.
