We rounded up a lovely evening with cocktails in our favourite hotel bar. The cocktails were superb! The best porn star martini in the city. Every member of staff is always so friendly and helpful. They look after you really well. There's a lovely atmosphere in the bar and it's the best place to start off before a meal or as we did, make the evening last a little bit longer. Many thanks to the staff.

Great stay at the Radisson. Location is brilliant. The staff are 10/10, Cameron on the night shift is a superstar and made my late check in an absolute breeze. Highly recommend and already booked for later next year. Only downside is the room service, burger and pizza tasted frozen and I'd have rather gone for an external delivery but other than that. Brilliant people, brilliant stay!!

Despite the renovations a wonderful 1 night stay. Rooms are lovely & spacious with everything you need in them. Buffet breakfast was good but could have done with another member of staff for teas/coffees. Bar is lovely for drinks. And all the staff were welcoming & friendly. Will definitely be back.

Rooms are beautifully decorated but we had one small issue the air conditioning unit from the room next door (406) kept my husband awake. But other than that the rooms where perfect. Spotless clean, newly decorated, comfy bed, controllable temp. Best thing about the hotel was by far the staff & we were there for a conference and needed to set up a table and the staff on reception and working at the event went above and beyond in their helpfulness. Special shout out to Frances.

I chose this hotel largely on its location since we were travelling by train. We had a room overlooking Argyle Street but the double glazing did a pretty good job at keeping out the noise. The room was well furnished with the usual oversized bed and random assortment of light switches (the standard lamp didn’t work) and a large television. This provided slightly intermittent service, particularly when trying to listen to the radio, but not a big issue. The room had no drawers, everything was on display so at least you wouldn’t leave anything behind. The exception was the wardrobe with soft close doors. The bathroom was well equipped with both bath and separate shower and the lighting (particularly the shaving mirror) was good. Sadly, the refurbishment seemed to have missed the toilet which with its slightly skewwiff seat and rather sad flush let the room down. It was also very low. The air conditioning was easy to adjust/turn off and the door entry system presented no problems. There was also a simple switch to provide additional security at night should you feel it necessary. The self-service breakfast room/restaurant was well stocked and offered everything from bacon and egg to croissant and jam. Unusually, perhaps, I did not see any fish on the order menu. Evening use of the restaurant and bar was hit and miss depending on what functions were going on and the hall and hire rooms could be noisy, although not to the extent of keeping you awake. However, there are several excellent restaurants just across the street. The front door and lifts were being improved while we were there but caused no significant problems and our stay was enhanced by the welcoming and helpful attitude of the staff – having a receptionist smile at you is worth travelling a few miles for!
