October 2024What a great stay. This hotel would be wonderful for a wedding. We stayed for two nights in a privilege room. The buffet style breakfasts catered for all tastes, from simple cereal to full English and even continental style meats and pastries. The room we stayed in was clean and warm, the creators throughout the hotel were in exceptional condition, even in high traffic areas, it is clear that they are staying on top of maintenance. The only developmental Francisco I could give is there wasn't a USB socket in the room, however this is more my issue rather than something they should provide. They also charged my phone at the front desk while I had breakfast. Definitely would stay here again!!!

November 2024This was a two night stay and the hotel is conveniently located for visiting family in the area. We've stayed here many times before. The hotel has an impressive entrance but behind this is now looking somewhat tired. The rooms are good but could be great with a little effort. But everything was there for a comfortable stay.

December 2024The room was a little cold with the radiator on maximum. Room service took over 2 hours to arrive after I had called reception to prompt them. Stains in the bath, beds were reasonably comfortable. Nice location, friendly staff and nice self serve breakfast.

November 2024Despite the nice impressive exterior of the main building this hotel is very dated. It is well overdue for a big revamp. Clearly it caters mostly to single night business travellers and weddings. The only saving grace for this place was the location and how quiet it was. I had an upgrade upon arrival from the standard room I reserved. The upgraded one was definitely nothing to be impressed by. Cracked window glass, cracked and repaired poorly sink, wear marks on furniture. The most important thing for me - the bed and pillows were quite a compromise as well, especially pillows - they were clumpy - all 4 of them and 2 of them had even hair clumps stuck under the pillow covers. This tells me that the pillows were well overdue replacement. You might have more luck with your room, but I will not choose to stay in this hotel any time soon.

December 2024Attended a Christmas party here last night , and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The drinks were extortionately priced, which put a damper on the festive mood. Bar service was painfully slow, leaving us waiting too long for overpriced drinks, I have to say it wasn’t the bar staff’s fault, there just wasn’t enough of them. When the food arrived, it was below average at best—definitely not worth the price tag. Overall, it felt like style over substance. Wouldn’t recommend for a special occasion.
