An amazing estate, with beautiful work put into the gardening. Inside is decorated wonderfully. Outside is a play park to keep children of all ages occupied. The walks beside the lake are amazing with a little cafe at the end that sells exceptionally good treats. Staff are also very polite and friendly and willing to answer all questions.

While the weather wasn't great Harewood House is still a great place to visit. The house is extremely impressive and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There are also plenty of nice walks to enjoy around the gardens and land. The Church was particularly impressive. We will definitely have to visit again when the weather is nicer.

First things first... this a review based on the transition phase Harewood is currently going through (Aug 24) and therefore, I'm giving a little allowance for the current level of facilities in my overall rating. The bird garden has now gone, and there are plans for a new adventure playground to wrap around the courtyard. All this sounds very promising and I'm sure we'll continue to enjoy Harewood with our membership (which we've had for many years). In the meantime, the remaining facilities are understandably a little tired and ready for the upcoming renewal.

Nice house, lovely gardens, excellent staff and volunteers; all very friendly and knowledgeable. Shame the walk isn't very long and some paths are quite narrow so on busy days there's not much room. You have to pay full price even if not entering the house, so not ideal to visit for dog walking.
