The Great Victoria boasts two superb function rooms for wedding celebrations. One space offers all the elegance of a traditional Victorian suite; its high ceilings, oak panelling, exquisite chandeliers and draped curtains all add to the grandeur and majesty of the space. If you choose to opt for a more contemporary feel for your event, the second room is bright and modern.
Both spaces are ideally suited for extravagant, traditional weddings, offering the style and flair you would expect from a top venue. We understand that every couple has their own plans and requirements for their special day, and we strive to provide a day that reflects you and your unique ideas. Whether you’re planning an intimate event or a grand celebration, we will create a magical day just for you.
You can choose the Great Victoria for your whole day or just for your reception in our banqueting suite. Whatever you choose, you can rest assured that you will enjoy service of the highest standard from the venue’s dedicated staff.
Within the hotel we have 70 beautifully finished rooms, offering a delightful night’s stay for your overnight guests. The most spectacular suite we offer is the stunning penthouse bridal suite. The room has two side-by-side baths and an impressive seven-foot bed for your first night of married life.
We are now in the process of landscaping the grounds so we can offer bride & grooms some memories outside as well as our beautiful hotel inside.

February 2025The breakfast was fantastic (hot breakfast to order and a continental help yourself). Juice to hand and hot drinks. The room we stayed in was beautiful, bathroom HUGE and bed! Smart TV so can watch Netflix etc!! The location is great as it’s right outside the train station and 5 mins from city centre (we went to the theatre which was a 5/10 min walk away).

November 2024We recently had an event at the Great Victoria Hotel, and we were genuinely impressed. The hotel’s location was perfect too, just a short walk from Bradford Interchange, which made it super convenient for guests arriving by train. The food was another highlight with positive reviews from our guests. The hotel’s facilities were also easy to access, and the layout made it easy for everyone to get around, which helped the whole event feel smooth and relaxed. The room setup was spot-on. The decor added a lovely touch, creating the exact atmosphere we were hoping for, with every little detail thoughtfully handled. And I can’t forget to mention the staff—they were amazing. They were super friendly and attentive, checking in with us throughout to make sure everything was going as planned. Their professionalism made the experience truly memorable for everyone involved.

March 2025Arrived last night, lift not working, I was placed on 3rd floor facing bus station and main street, should have known to ask for room on other side of hotel. I highly recommend if booking here unless you are a heavy sleeper. Windows are not double glazed so you hear every bus backing up in bus station and every person shouting in the street. Ask for room away from street with bus station in.
