The Great Victoria boasts two superb function rooms for wedding celebrations. One space offers all the elegance of a traditional Victorian suite; its high ceilings, oak panelling, exquisite chandeliers and draped curtains all add to the grandeur and majesty of the space. If you choose to opt for a more contemporary feel for your event, the second room is bright and modern.
Both spaces are ideally suited for extravagant, traditional weddings, offering the style and flair you would expect from a top venue. We understand that every couple has their own plans and requirements for their special day, and we strive to provide a day that reflects you and your unique ideas. Whether you’re planning an intimate event or a grand celebration, we will create a magical day just for you.
You can choose the Great Victoria for your whole day or just for your reception in our banqueting suite. Whatever you choose, you can rest assured that you will enjoy service of the highest standard from the venue’s dedicated staff.
Within the hotel we have 70 beautifully finished rooms, offering a delightful night’s stay for your overnight guests. The most spectacular suite we offer is the stunning penthouse bridal suite. The room has two side-by-side baths and an impressive seven-foot bed for your first night of married life.
We are now in the process of landscaping the grounds so we can offer bride & grooms some memories outside as well as our beautiful hotel inside.

November 2024I had a great stay at the Great Victoria Hotel in Bradford. The customer service was excellent – the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. My room was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable experience. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, with no issues at all. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay!

December 2024We attended a Soul and Motown night with a meal. The hotel is lovely , staff are pleasant and food was great. The Soul and Motown night...well there was a young fella singing who murdered the tunes and a live singer wasnt advertised, some people went and sat in the bar, until he finished, some just left. After the singer The DJ played music which wasn't Soul or Motown. The hotel could have saved some money by "not" hiring that singer and just got the DJ to play good Soul/ Motown tunes plus the hotel would have made more money if people stayed and drank. Everything else was lovely, It was a shame as we were really looking forward to a good dance to real music.

December 2024We was gifted a 2 day stay at the Victoria as a wedding gift after our wedding evening we checked into the hotel. We was greeted pleasantly on reception I was happy I have given 3 star and greeting and location. We walked to our room it was a lift then walked to the 3rd floor. The room was ok the bathroom blind wasn't working to close it the shower was decent but the tiles are not non slip as I fell in the bathroom and fractured my wrist the toilet seat broke. There has been no contact from the hotel at all. I can't see the £50 that was taken from account. The sink was blocked and with hair for 2 days which was awful to see and the water would take ages to go down. I have taken pictures to add.its a shame to put this on as reading the reviews beforehand I contacted the sales manager to tell them I don't want to experience similar stuff. I had the following response "I can assure you our standards here are very high and we will go to lengths to make sure you are looked after on your stay with us." I really won't forget the stay and always feel worried when booking to new hotels after this first time experience

December 2024Night out with work for Christmas Dinner the food wasn't nice at all.. soup was like to tomatoe puree, salmon was bland no flavour at all we had to put loads of salt and pepper for some taste. And cheese cake had a very thin layer of biscuits base.. we were all very disappointed 😞
