Good stay with some amazing steak with nice coated chips for dinner. The rooms are comfortable although some walls are very thin - I could hear someone's phone conversation clearly from the next room (I was in 16). However, I always bring ear plugs so didn't bother me. Aircon was particularly effective.

Visited for a presentation evening which included a three course meal with coffee. The evening didn't start well when it became apparent that there were ten guests squashed around a table designed for eight. The starter and main were ok, if slightly small portions and hardly any vegetables but the dessert was tasteless. The coffee never actually arrived and we had to ask for it. Half a cup of stewed terrible tasting coffee was then served to the table by a waitress who obviously thought the task was beneath her, spilling a quantity on the table before wandering off without saying a word. In general the waiting staff could do with some more training as they were tracking across guests to either serve or remove dishes/glasses from the table. The Guinness Zero was obviously bought from a supermarket as it was the 500ml can target than the pint can designed for a bar and they were charging £5 for it. All in all not a very pleasant experience.
