This was the second place we stayed on a 2-week journey. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The location was fantastic. Breakfast was great. Service was awesome. Late night drinks and a dessert cheese board was beautiful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. And I appreciate their cheerfulness and their willingness to help us make our trip fantastic.

This was our first time staying in York, as it was our anniversary I decided to treat us both and stay at the hilton. The vallet parking was worth the money and the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The only complaint I have is I paid extra to have a room with a view of Clifford tower and this was blocked by a huge tree and could not be seen from our room. That was my only complaint. The bed was comfy, room was clean, bathroom a bit smaller than I'm used to but manageable. All in all we had a very pleasant stay! Would stay again

Average size room but with a tiny bathroom. The shower was over the bath with a curtain (not a big fan of shower curtains anyway) and the bath was so narrow that my feet were standing on the bottom edges of the bath that start to turn up. Also the water wasn't running away properly so ended up standing in two inches of water and soap. On the plus side staff were great and the location was perfect.

Room was lovely and clean, enough bedding and towels for all of us. We were a parry of 4 adults the room was slightly on the small side and very hot, but we did find a fan in the wardrobe the next morning. Only saw the reception staff but all we spoke to were friendly and helpful, would return

The staff was so kind and accommodating! The location is wonderful, very central, pretty quiet, and with a great view of the castle depending on where your room is. The rooms are pretty spacious, clean, and up to date. It can get a little hot because there is no AC but there is a plug in fan and the windows open so you can have a breeze at night. Though be careful when you do because there are no screens so bugs could come in if it is in the warm month.
