This is a great hotel. The rooms are generous and very clean. We ate here in the evening too and the menu was good and the selection covered most tastes (they had American, Indian and Lebanese food). Breakfast was great too and gave a good start to the day. Access to the spa is included when you stay, but we didn't have time to make use of it.

Visited for a get away. Lovely room. Breakfast good choices. Had dinner one night. Steak and chips, superb. Leisure centre was very enjoyable. Made the most of the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Make sure your car is logged in as received a ticket, phoned hotel and they sorted it out.

Overall the hotel is acceptable. There is obvious signs of investment going on in parts of the hotel. The hotel entrance isn't very obvious. Check in was quick and efficient and all staff I came in to contact with were polite, friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit basic and on the small side. Breakfast is buffet style, I've had better but I've also had worse. First day fried eggs were cold and bacon was overcooked (a bit like cardboard). Second day breakfast was slightly better. Evening / Room Service (both the same) menu is a bit basic. I was going to try the restaurant but nothing really took my fancy and was put off by the younger service staff lounging around / chatting on the terrace outside the restaurant. The bar looked great, but never saw any staff in there so I didn't bother venturing in. The Spa, which was included, is small but fairly well maintained and all the staff here were friendly too. The hotel seems to be mainly geared up towards business guests, I would stay again if on business, but I wouldn't if I was a leisure guest.

Abhorrent experience, when I initially checked in and went to my room I discovered rose petals and grape vines behind my bed. An obvious indicator they hadn’t properly cleaned my room, throughout my entire stay the staff was particularly rude with the exception of Paul on the night desk who was absolutely amazing. Salim the restaurant manager was horribly rude to my father and I when trying to order a nightcap 10 minutes before their designated closing time, going as far as raising his voice at us and using rude language that should never be used to a guest of the hotel you work in. Our sliding glass door on the ground floor did not properly lock for the duration of my 7-night stay, leaving my room vulnerable to theft or worse. Despite numerous attempts to have hotel staff fix it they failed to fix it, each time. The room service was rude to my mother and sister when ordering a half-hour earlier than their designated closing time. If you have any other options when in Wolverhampton, I implore you all to stay elsewhere if at all possible.

The only thing I can recommend about this hotel is that you AVOID it at all costs & book somewhere else. My partner & I booked this hotel along with about 6 other couples after we attended a wedding in the area, the price for the night was £95, so not a budget hotel by any means. Numerous problems during our stay, I’m not sure who’s rated this hotel as 4 stars but it is possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 1) Fire alarm goes off constantly because the sensors are too sensitive in the rooms meaning you can’t relax knowing whether there actually is a fire or not. 2) Rooms are in a state of disrepair, dirty floors with wallpaper hanging off the walls, stained cushions, curtains & hair found in the bed. 3) The fire door stays open when pushed due to catching on the carpet, which is obviously a fire hazard, yet the rest of the door has huge gaps around the edges, meaning there is no privacy between your room & the corridor. 4) Pillows were extra long & deep, probably the equivalent of 3/4 pillows stacked on top of one another with no alternative. 5) On the night we stayed we arrived back at the hotel around 1am & it sounded like everyone on our corridor were having private raves in their rooms. People running up & down the corridors, screaming, shouting & banging on each other’s doors. The walls are so thin you can hear everything, the last time I checked my phone for the time it was 3am & then noise didn’t stop. 6) The bar is way too small for the amount of guests it can host, so there was no room to sit when we wanted to get a drink & a snack. 7) We didn’t have breakfast in the morning due to the fact we didn’t want to spend a single penny further being disappointed by this hotel yet again. Avoid this hotel at ALL costs if you’d like to have a relaxing night away.
