The Great Tythe Barn has been one of the Cotswolds leading event venues since 1995 and has hosted a significant number of events from parties, award ceremonies and team away days. The Great Tythe Barn & Tythe House are the perfect location for your event, whether it’s a large or small event we can facilitate!
The Great Tythe Barn features a singular large space than can be divided into two spaces. The Tythe House’s Orangery lends itself to a smaller gathering of a more familiar and intimate nature.

August 2024The team at Great Tythe Barn made our wedding an absolute dream come true! They were so amazing and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day! We honestly couldn’t have had a better day, not even the weather put a dampener on it! The accommodation on site was also stunning and so convenient for the night before and staying there after the wedding! Rhoda was so helpful and friendly! September 2024We had our wedding at The Great Tythe Barn in August 2024. The whole process with the team was fantastic, from day one they were supportive of all our ideas and so helpful, offering great advice and guidance. We had the most perfect 2 nights at Great Tythe Barn, the accomodation was perfect for our guests, it was so nice to be able to have people stay before and after the wedding. Everyone commented on the wonderful venue and the amazing staff! Every member of staff was so helpful and friendly, they couldn't have done more for us! Poppy was the loveliest and really made sure that the day ran smoothly! Jac and the bar team were very accommodating and the grounds team were super helpful. Thanks to everyone for all you did for our amazing day!!

September 2024We were staying in one of the cottages as part of our daughter's wedding and being in the same location as the wedding was wonderful. The service from all staff involved in the wedding was great, although as we were self-catering we didn't see too many staff in regard to our room. The rooms are well decorated while still retaining some characterful features. This would be a lovely place to stay to explore Tetbury and the Cotswolds as well as an excellent venue for weddings.

September 2024Where do I start? We had the most incredible weekend celebrating our wedding day at The Great Tythe Barn. We booked up most of the cottages and the B&B’s for our family and friends to stay before and after the wedding. This was perfect and so ideal. Really make the weekend feel extra special. Tracey and her team went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day was everything we dreamt of. The barn and the grounds that surround it is absolutely stunning. Our guests are still talking about what a beautiful day it was and how stunning the venue is. We chose Orchard as our caterer for day and evening food. We are truly so grateful for the team we had working with us on the day to make our day so perfect and unforgettable. Thank you Tracey and team, so so much 🫶❤️

September 2024What a venue! I really don't know where to begin! We had the most magical special day at the venue, it really is the most beautiful place. The staff are more than amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Poppy is the best wedding co-ordinator and really made everything go with ease. Even with a few hurdles thrown at us 6 weeks before the wedding, she was helpful and there for us to help, advise and support. Communication before the days is always quick and the staff were always friendly. Rhoda (accommodation) was always a joy to deal with too. The staff really go above and beyond to make sure the day and the lead up runs smoothly. If you are looking for a wedding venue set in beautiful surroundings and with even better staff then The Great Tythe Barn is it. If I could score it higher I would! Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our day so special.
