The hotel is tucked away surrounded by lovely countryside and well located for our Christmas visit to Bath. Staff were excellent, really helpful, efficient and friendly, especially the gentleman on the reception desk who explained the issue we had getting to the hotel from Bath using the satnav. Both the evening meals and breakfasts were of a good standard. Our room was spacious, warm, clean with a lovely outlook down the valley and a balcony. Will definitely stay at the hotel again in the future!

Lovely experience. The building itself is an old building which is amazing, the rooms and interior decoration are a little tired, but in keeping with the age of the building. The rooms were clean and tidy, service was brilliant, the bar was great with great staff, breakfast lovely. A very peaceful place to visit, perfect for visiting Bath.

Stayed here recently and enjoyed it. Hotel has a lovely view of the surroundings, breakfast was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. For me personally the location wasn't ideal for going to shops etc. The road conditions were bad for my personal vehicle which is my fault so didn't wanna drive anywhere. That's not the hotels fault though that's my personal problem. Would stay here again as long as I don't bring my car ha. Plenty of parking too!

Worst reception staff I've seen in all my years of traveling. Rudeness seems to be the hiring criteria when choosing the face of the hotel. Breakfast is limited and overpriced, bar cocktails are made using a premixed supermarket bottled cocktail, asked for an iron to iron a shirt and received anniron with a broken plug with live wires exposed, iron board stained and dirty. Not what I expected from an hotel where reception staff acts as if they are above everyone and make you feel not wanted.
