Me and my partner just spent two nights here to celebrate our anniversary and had the most wonderful time! Diana was positively lovely and helped us with whatever we needed, and we were served dinner by James who was funny and proficient. Eleftherios also ensured that we were put in a room that fit our requirements! The rooms are lovely and cosy, there are lifts to the first and second floor but getting to the third requires some steps so please ask for a lower room if you have trouble with steps! The dinner and breakfast service was well catered and delicious, definitely worth the money! And the staff didn’t hover around you, but we’re still very quick to address any issues. The hotel is in a secluded area but still close enough to Bath by a bus that runs hourly and only costs £2 for a single ticket! This has been one of the loveliest hotels I’ve stayed in, not only because of the surrounding scenery, but because of the wonderful staff that run it, we hope to be back some day!

A beautiful hotel with stunning views of the countryside. A patio outside the bar was the perfect place to sit and admire the views. Friendly and helpful staff, they all seem happy to work there :) We stayed here for a wedding and were impressed with the organisation, patience and skill of all the staff involved.

Lovely hotel, great staff. Myself and my sister paid the same amount for 2 different rooms. Her room was stunning and my room was a bit crap (small box room that just did not match the aesthetic of the hotel). Everything else was really nice. Would recommend.

A nice place, nice rooms, but hard to get to as roads in the village more or less allow one car to get through so there's lots of shunting, reversing, waiting and negotiating who's going to go first when there's room for two cars to squeeze past each other. You can't go for a walk, roads are steep, narrow, you cold get hit by a car, so all there is to do is go to the bar and drink, but how much can one drink? Drinks and food are pricey too. Can't go to Bath as driving out of the village and back is a nightmare. So, best to stay in Bath where you can walk to everything. Room 3 was quite good, but bathroom is dated with a shower in the bath. Breakfast was OK, coffee is awful, filter coffee and weak. Restaurant menu is limited. Also, lady at check in was rude; name... you give your name, phone number.... you give your phone number, email.... you give your email, no hello, no welcome, no enjoy your stay, no smile, here is the key, lift is down there or you can take the stairs... so you take the key and go to your room. There will be no next time. If you're going to Bath, stay in Bath near the city centre and close to everything.
