Stayed here for a romantic getaway and was not disappointed. The executive room has amazing views of the river and pier. Spa was wonderful. Breakfast was great and has everything you need. Great location only a short walk from the high street and West Quays shopping centre. We ate dinner in the Marco Pierre White restaurant which was fantastic! Overall a highly recommended stay. Thankyou!

Had an experience gift for xmas and chose this hotel (cannot verify room standards or quality of stay) We had afternoon tea, well presented, good selection and variety. Staff were polite. Large dining area, room for wheelchairs.

The reception staff weren't great. Took them time to find our booking and the couple in front of us. We checked in on-line. This is supposed to speed things up. The receptionist then asked us, do you want breakfast? We'd already booked it. He hadn't read the booking. Then we asked about car parking, which we'd already paid for and he then entered our details. This is important or we would be fined . He then gave us the key and left us to it. We had been before and knew where to go, but if we hadn't we'd have been lost. To be honest this is terrible service, so I think further training could be given. When we got to our room, it was cold, the patio door was open. No instructions were left for putting on heating. Tea and coffee facilities were limited. Felt like it hasn't been restocked. We used the spa area and had a massage. This was good and the therapists were lovely. Thank you. Over all the hotel is looking tired. Was once beautiful, but needs a refurb.

I’m giving 2/5 due to the lack of customer service from a lot of the staff - especially most of those on reception. It really let’s the place down, as the rooms are nice, hotel is in a good location, however even our first impression when we arrived felt odd as it wasn’t a welcome that suggested customer service was important, some of the staff seem unhappy and just not friendly (some others seem good for sure, maybe put the good ones on reception….). Real shame, as we have used Leonardo before and the staff were great.

We went here for our work Christmas night out and paid £53 for their Christmas package. The food was mediocre at best. We didnt even get a bread roll with our tiny portion soup starter. You'd think for £53 you might get a bread roll. The roast turkey main course was disappointing and bland. No salt or pepper on the table. The cheesecake pudding was delicious. The tables were crammed in so tightly I spent the whole meal having to move my chair in and out so people could squeeze past. Drinks at the bar were extremely expensive. The package said there would be a magician, but no one on our table saw one! The casino tables were fun and the best part of the evening. The guy on the Blackjack table was brilliant. Would not recommend this for their Christmas nights. Too expensive for what you get.
